This is a sturdy piece of equipment! It works well for my purpose. The bearings are not the best and had very little grease. I took the time to grease them, but considering its a low speed hand-cranked machine, I'm sure they would last a long time anyway.

every sign shop should have one. this is my second one, don't know how we got by without one!!great value.

I bought this machine for our signage business but this machine I bought is 130cm is so much more compact compared to the regular giant cold laminators selling for over a thousand dollars, its very well built and light enough to move and position by one person, does a brilliant job mounting prints ! Highly recommended, if you are doing standard sign panels which are 1220 wide, you just cannot beat this for price and performance !

Arrived quick, solid and works as advertised.

I purchased this 650mm laminator to apply transfer paper to acrylic sheets for laser cutting/engraving. I took it apart and changed the rollers around so the bottom roller is the drive roller (paper to feed from underneath). I was pleasantly surprised to find sealed roller bearings, machine screws and tapped screw holes in what appeared at first glance to be just sheet metal screws. They are only 3mm though so go easy with torque or they will strip.It was no problem to swap the rollers around. The bearing housings are different sizes but the axle diameters are identical. The handle is plastic, not metal as the product image showed, but it does use a metal bush insert so it's probably strong enough (time will tell). The rollers appear to be true and consistent diameter.There are better made machines out there, no doubt, but for the money, I don't think you could do much better than this. It is made well enough to do the job it's supposed to do for a long time and it is very economical compared to alternatives.

Absolutely perfect for a cold roll laminate. Double high five

Perfect if you do a small amount of mounting onto 1300 wide prints. We usually only print 760mm wide due to our line of work and would have to outsource any lamination. Works perfectly, easy, well built, quick delivery. Much cheaper than an automatic laminator and can be easily stored away when not in use.
