Easy to install. Would prefer helm backing plate to be stainless. Some instructions arent very clear but reading a few times made easy to understand. Once bled the steering is faultless when i ised the boat a few times since installation

Easy to fit, and bleed the system. Transforms the boat steering. (5.5 m ). The instructions are surprisingly clear and easy to follow.

You’re not buying this unless you know what you’re doing so not sure what good a review would do. This was installed in place of a cabled installation with a tight bend. Went through 2 cables in as many years. This was super easy to bleed and man what a difference!

The price is about half of the competition. It doesn’t come with oil which can cost an extra $200 but you can use transmission fluid just check with the hydraulic shop on which one. It’s only $50 for 4 litres and you’ll use lest than 2 litres. It’s easy to install yourself and I’ve had it out twice now on my 5m boat with a 90hp Honda and so far so good. I guess the true quality will be revealed by how long it lasts.

Seems of good quality for the money. Instructions could be re-written to be more clear and helpful. Not the easiest thing in the world to install yourself. I had to watch a bunch of YouTube videos to really figure it out. Hopefully, it will hold up and prove to be the good purchase that it seems to be.

I am shocked by the performance and quality of this steering kit. Easy to assemble, smooth as silk and overall very good quality. 2001 Fisher 17 / 70 hp Yamaha Oh, and FJB - both of them.
