I was dishonestly sent out the cheaper model after having bought the better one and it was incomplete with the assembly screws missing One of the 4 screws that hold the motor together had its thread ripped out and factory assembly was rough with the base being delivered bent and the belt cover being installed out of parallel The rubbish way they have gone about sorting these issues is laughable So far at least 5 reply’s and no solution?? Sorry but not everyone is an idiot

While this came quickly and well packaged there were a couple of issues that made it hard to assemble: 1. The Disc didn't want to fit onto the shaft easily. 2. The supplied Hex-Key was too short to tighten the locking grubscrew. 3. The red metal stopper supplied attaches (on the belt sanding end) to a flimsy thin black plastic shield . . . The black plastic had a crack from the screw hole to the outer square edge. 4. Using the thin pressed spanner (supplied) isn't easy to undo the two bolts to swivel the belt sander into the vertical position. However the actual size and build of the rest of the machine is good. I'm hoping it will last me a long time with the amount of use I have planned for it.

Purchased this for my son-in-law's birthday. I realise it's not an expensive unit but there were assembly issues. The removable belt table is held to the machine by 1/2 inch piece of round bar and locking grub screws - this bar has two flats to line up with the grub screws, the flats should be 180' opposite each other or the table isn't straight when tightened - we had to mill this bar to align the table. Also, be careful with the spring loaded knob which you would think adjusts the belt tension - this actually adjusts how true the belt runs on the machine and is quite sensitive - adjusted incorrectly and the belt runs off the side and will damage the steel guide. Anyway, it's all working now just needed TLC.

It's not fair to compare it to machines double the price... so for what you're paying, I feel it's very decent quality. Take a little time to set up and adjust, and it's fine for small home workshop applications. Wish it'd be easier to replace the sanding disc once the time comes though... and would be even better if there was a speed control :)

The assembly instructions are not complete. The table is not secure enough. The clearance for the circular sanding disc is too close to the stand or table and the side had to be ground down to fit correctly. Because the difference in size of the machine is similar between - as it was sent and assembled why not send the machine assembled to be more favorably received.

Great little machine, does everything I need to do. I've removed the dust collector under the belt as I don't have an extraction system.

It's a great little sander and worth every dollar. I'm a hobbiest and the sander does everything asked of it. Just had to replace the paper for my use. I can certainly recommend it for hobbies.

Great for handyman / hobbyist I will buy again if required. We'll priced and fast delivery easy to deal with

This is a bit underpowered for using with steel. Great with wood and plastics though. I will be using this for many years I think.

This is a nice sander combo. Very useful for small to medium projects such as crafting and woodworking projects. Comes in very handy for making birdhouses and windchimes.
