This door actually works as intended. The instal instructions can be improved especially for programming the remote. DIY requires a degree of proficiency with tools and power. It takes time to instal properly. The remote operates from a distance of approx. 10 metres. The clock must be reset if there is a power failure. Be careful to ensure the infrared induction sensor is not being triggered when attempting to first operate the door. If the red light on the sensor is on, this indicates something is triggering it and the door will not close and/or operate. Enjoy! Hopefully the manufacturers will take this feed back to make improvements to the manual especially.
