Love This Machine! I am a plant lady and have about 50 houseplants. Half of them prefer distilled water for roots/soil and 2 humidifiers that need to be refilled twice per day. This machine produces 5 gallons of distilled water for use per day. The price is right and I believe I can get a year or more out of the unit to do what it’s designed to do. We tested the water and it was very clean. You would be amazed to see what collects at the bottom of machine after a few uses. Tap water is dirty.

I have found the water distiller really easy to use and it produces 1 litre of distilled water per hour which is quite satisfactory for my personal use.

I purchased the Distiller in preparation for our future food shortage. However whe I received the product, my son needed distilled water for his business.(during the pandemic he couldn't fine the water) So I decided to practice using the machine by making him 5 gallons distilled water. It was easy, just set the machine and forget it. Now it will serve my family to purify our drinking water and give my son what he needs for his business. Thank you Vevor.

The distiller works great but the inside melted the button so it doesn’t work properly. Before the button melted it was the best purchase ever! It did the job I needed it to do and my plants were very thankful. Like I said, I’d buy another one if they found a way to ensure the heat from the machine can’t melt the plastic pieces…

I haven't had a chance to use it yet. I bought it for distilling water for our solar system batteries. I gave it 5 stars because everything I have purchased from Vevor has worked well.

I need distilled water for my Bi-Pap machine. All of the stores were out of distilled water with no promise when it would be reshelved. The machine makes a gallon of water every 4 hours as advertised. I have made 4 gallons to have in stock.it is used for car batteries, steam iron use, coffee, tea, and other household things!

We use the frequently it's been almost 5 months. We use it for soda stream, steam cleaner for clothes, carpet cleaner etc...If there is an issue it's either a defect with YOUR product or USER ERROR. I've read enough of the reviews here to know there is blatant lack of competency. If you clean it immediately, use it regularly and use it as intended following instructions this will work great if you need one.

I’ve now been using the unit for a week and have run it over 20 times for distilled water. A few things I’ve learned that may help others.1. Don’t run it dry. It takes about 4 hours to produce about a gallon of distilled water, so I stop it after 3 hours using a countdown timer. This makes clean-up easy as the left behind minerals do not get burned onto the bottom of the water tank.2. Let it cool for an hour or so between uses. Once cool disconnect the plug from the upper to the lower unit, take off the top and put it aside, pour out the leftover water from the bottom and wipe out with a soft cloth or paper towel, wipe off the upper unit being careful around the vent that the water vapor moves through, then put both either on a towel or over the edge of a sink to dry. Also wipe off the soft seal on the top unit to keep it clean.3. Mix up a little vinegar with water and use it to wipe off the inside of the upper and lower unit, then wipe with a wet soft cloth. Let dry.4. You may notice some water outside the unit when you take it apart, but I’ve found that with my unit it comes from the water on the top unit that drips off when open. At first I thought it was leaking, but after carefully checking it is not, but as it takes some effort to get off the upper piece water vapor condenses around it.For the price I hope to get a few years out of this device. If I notice anything else I’ll update this review. For now i consider this worth the money, but it does require care to maintain it. The key piece of advice is do not let it run dry and things should hopefully be much easier.
