Great product and works well.
Since the recent inflation, the price to purchase distilled water went up 50% and was getting harder and harder to find on the shelves. Not a problem anymore, works great, using white vinegar to clean up the tub, thanks for a great product.

I use this for my CPAP
This works great! I bought it for my CPAP as no one near me could keep distilled water in stock during the Pandemic.I haven't had any health issues or scale buildup in my CPAP humidifier. One note, Do Not use this device on a countertop under cabinetry! I did the first time I used it and it was a disaster. All the dissipated heat built up in the limited space above it and then got drawn across the cooling coils which caused condensation outside the machine and all over the counter. Once I moved it to an open space it has worked flawlessly!

Amazing! Saves so much hassle for those who need distilled water.
A must have for anyone who frequently needs distilled water. We go through about a gallon a day in our nugget ice machine, which was adding up in costly trips to the store for distilled water. We researched these machines and this has not disappointed. We’ve easily made over 100 gallons.. cleaning is easy just use vinegar and Citric Acid crystals every few runs.. also another comment or posted how to DIY the charcoal filters and I recommend that method.

Works great for my chemistry lab
Great little inexpensive distillation machine. Work perfectly for making all the distilled water I need for the school year.

Awesome
At a time when I can't find any distilled water in the store, had to find another option. I need the water for my CPAP. I have used it a few times without any issues. I have already recommended it to a few folks. Very simple to use.

Love mine
The water tested as good as the purchase water. Store water reads 0 and the distiller reads 1 . It don't get any better than that. I started drinking water again. I have to replace the filter in my berkey but for the price of those filter I will just buy me a nother water distiller. Very happy

Have to run twice
For the price it isn’t bad …… BUT…. If you are expecting or needing to get 000 PPM you will have to run it through two times .

I have a CPAP machine with humidifier. It requires the use of distilled water. When I saw this'll device, I decided it would save time and money to purchase it. When I got it I was impressed with it's quality. Though I wish it was a bit faster in making a gallon of a gallon of water. It's quiet, so what I decide to do is to start it when I go to bed, then store the freshly made water in a separated container. One added use, is in my coffee maker, which needs to be decalcified occasionally...using distilled water . And the coffee tastes great.. I recommend this product.

Works great
We have had this for a few months. We bought it because it has become difficult at times to find distilled water for our CPAPs. It won't save money until we get past 1.5 years of use. It must be cleaned after every use or mineral deposits will build up. Vinegar, lemon juice or citric acid can be used, but we find citric acid works best.

Recommended for home use.
I decided recently to purchase a water distiller in effort to avoid these issues:A). Controlling price inflation. We have had a increase of 30% price on distilled water in the past six months. Most of these increases are recent.B). Lack of availability for distilled water. It’s big deal to me as water shortages are frequent.C). Only an added benefit, no plastic waste of gallon jugs.First impressions. It is in my mind the size is bigger than expected. It appears decently made for a home system. The fitment is poor between the distiller and collection tank and needs an design improvement review to improve setup during distillation. I plan locate a silicone line to improve this for my own use. It comes added citric acid as tank cleaner and three charcoal filters.YOU REALLY NEED TO follow the instructions for first use as there is a (first time only) initial smell. The smell not present after this. Do not use the first run.You will need to understand that mineral build up in the tank WILL occur. So simply place water and small amount provided citric acid or use Vinegar wait 10 minutes (or a little longer). Then well rinse the interior only. NO NOT IMMERSE the stainless in water. If fail you to do this the minerals will build up and the unit heating element will simply burn out. Reject some the reviews on burn out issues as they are really complaining on their personal failures to clean out this stainless tank. It easy to do…It’s noted already in other comments to use a timer for about 3 hours. The reason is to protect against heating element burn out and do not depend on the manufacture automatic cutoff. I use a WIFI based smart switch as a fail safe. You can use any timer as well.I discovered that once distilling process is done unplug the power cords from the distiller and plug the fan cords together for 10 minutes. This done prior to lifting the cooling head and will allow the cooling fan alone to run. Hereby the distiller will cool down much faster and as a safety for
