Good distiller
I like the distiller, easy to operate, but the instructions need a better explanation on cleaning the machine. I emailed customer service from the information I found in the box. But the customer service couldn’t help Amazon customers. They are based outside the US I believe, and assistance was to be provided by their Amazon division, which didn’t help me at all. I just looked on YouTube for cleaning instructions and the white material used to clean it and Amazon does sell it. So I had to go outside the company for company information.

Surprisingly easy once you get the hang of distilling.
I liked how it shuts off once the distilling has finished and the heater tank is empty. A friend has an older one and he must watch so his unit doesn't burn out when it's empty. The carafe for this purchase is solid non-BFA plastic so I decided to get a glass carafe as well. Had I decided this at the time I bought the distiller I would have bought the unit with the glass carafe and saved myself some money and fuss. Still, now I have two carafes.

Save Money on Distilled Water
My wife and I were using about a gallon of distilled water a day in our Keurig coffee machine. Purchasing this water distiller has cut the price per gallon from $1.14 (plus tax) at our local big-brand grocery. I have a kilowatt-hour meter, and I how many kwh it took to distill a gallon of water. Based on us paying $0.124 per kilowatt-hour. It turns out that it costs less than 50¢ per gallon. It takes about four hours to distill a gallon of water. I shut it off a couple of times to go places. So, when I turned it back on two times, it had to reheat the water to the boiling point. This took extra energy. If it's left running, it should be able to make a gallon of distilled water for about 45¢. But, it depends on the cost per kilowatt. Our $0.124 per kwh is really cheap compared to many locations; but in this higher prices areas, distilled water purchased from stores would also probably cost more than $1.14/gal.

Works great
I can't say much more than other reviewers have. I bought this because I couldn't find distilled water anywhere to use in my CPAP. I did a test run (with charcoal filter) and the water smelled awful, but by the second run, the smell had disappeared. It's a nifty little device, eirks great, and I may use it for coffee, since our hard water clogs the coffee machine and I'm forever running vinegar through it. Dont run it dry unless you want to spend time cleaning it. I put a couple cups of water in it, threw some of the citrus stuff in, let it run (with the top part off) for 20 minutes and it was clean. Super easy...just make sure you set an alarm when you run it, or you might forget about it. One other thing...The manual says to press the "start" button. There isn't one. The "start" button is the on/off switch by where the cord plugs into the machine. I kept pressing the "reset" button, after turning on the on/off switch, thinking I needed to do that to start the distillation process. Also, my device was a different brand than shown. It's a Vevor, but I couldn't care less as long as it works. Will update in 6 months if I remember.

Quick and Easy
The distiller works very easily. The instructions are worthless but you can figure out the steps to take with a little patience.

Works great!
I used water distillers for 20 years. This product works as well as the more expensive units and its easier to clean then the more expensive units. I'm very satisfied know the water is pure. I start the unit in the morning before I go to work and in the evening. I was a little concerned with the design but was pleasantly suprised on how well it worked. I now purchased several for friends.

Great for distilling dirty IPA.
I have been using this distiller to remove the dirty resin out of my Isopropyl Alcohol. It works great! The IPA needs to be distilled outdoors and away from people and animals though. In 40 minutes I have clean IPA. It will even remove Siraya-Tech Tenacious which, sun curing cannot. I retain about 85% of what I put in and it's easy to clean out the left over resin.

Works well
Works great! FYI, the on/off switch is the orange switch on the side near the plug, it is NOT the button on the other side as so many people have suggested. That is the reset button. The instructions leave a lot to be desired, but there are several YouTube videos that are helpful.

Easy to set up and easy to clean
Was really easy to set this machine up once I got it and operate it. The only real downsides are that it takes a long while to make a gallon of distilled water and the counter footprint is a little big. Otherwise, it does the job well. We have pretty hard water here, and so sediment will build up on the bottom pretty quickly. To remedy this, I just put a little vinegar and water to cover the bottom where the sediment accumulates, give it a couple of swirls over a few minutes, and then rinse it down. I do this with every other use. Haven't needed to use the included cleaning granules just yet, but I figure I will hang on to them in case the vinegar trick doesn't work. My complaints are probably unrealistic expectations though, so granting that I will give this 5 stars and definitely recommend it as it is inexpensive and does the job intended with no real fuss.
