I loved the price.

I did not want to spent a couple/several hundred dollars for a distiller so I decided to give this a try. I do believe this was used so I am disappointed in that because I don't believe I order a used product - I never buy used. The product was not packaged by a company, the cord was hand-coiled and parts were not in sealed plastic, but were loose in the box and the metal spout is all scratched up. I considered contacting the seller and complaining, but I needed distilled water pronto and decided to try it out. It works great! I really like it. However, there is a jar of some kind of powder included to use to clean the distiller. The jar has a label with instructions, but no label saying what the product is made of or who made it or how to order more of it. There is an instruction pamphlet, but there is no product name or product information on anything. No information given to contact the company should I have any questions or problems. The only thing that has the company name is the distiller itself. If just says Mophorn. So, I still question if I should complain but it is working really well and other than a few scratches it is in perfect condition.

I distill water and also use filters - both brita and zero water. This distiller has already paid for itself vs the cost of filtering the same amount of water. So now it's all savings. Even if it breaks tomorrow it's a good deal - but it will probably last quite awhile. The $350 distillers that this thing is copying are probably better, but for 5X the money you need to use them forever to break even. I can't tell a difference between what this machine does and the expensive models, and I've had two of the pricey ones.Update: it broke after six months. Still a good value in my opinion. Except creating unnecessary garbage. That's a downside.

Running a humidifier. Instead of dusting 1-2 times a day, because of white dust, I now have to dust once a week again.

Still good at producing good distillate.

It was easy to set up and it filled the entire container over night.

If you are like me and need distilled water, but the grocery store never has any in stock, this is what you need to get. It puts out so much water that I only need to use it every few days. Very easy to use, just fill it up put the jug under the spout and turn it on. It automatically shuts off when it’s done.

The unit is turned on by a power switch on the base, and there's a button on the front which can not be toggled off. The instant you flip the power switch, the heater in the base turns on along with the fan in the head. If you want to turn the heater off while leaving the cooling fan in the head on (IE, if you want to stop the distillation before it finishes), you have to unplug the power cord from the base, unplug the head from the base, then plug the power cord into the cord from the head. That wasn't in the manual, I just figured it out. Why did they add a "start" button that doesn't "stop" when pressed again?
