I absolutely love this item. It takes 4 hours per jug to fill but it beats buying water from the store. My plants have been happier since receiving in-house distiller.

I love my water distiller. It is the right size and not heavy.

I purchased this distiller for my self about a hear ago and the discussing the merits of distilled water for cooking and drinking decided to order one for my son as well. I have made over 300 gallons in the past year and my son is making a gallon a day to support his needs. Machine works just great and have set it up on a timer to get the lowest electricity cost. Water tastes great and believe that it will work for a long time. If you make 300 gallons a year, that is a $ 300 savings over buying distilled water in the store. Electricity probably costs about $ .25 per gallon.Frieda C

It works well. It isn't too noisy. They said to run water through it once and discard the water. But I noticed a weird after taste for about four or five distillings. I don't think it hurt anything, but I would recommend that you distill four or five batches before drinking the water. I am also using a food grade silicon tube to send the water to a gallon glass jug I have, rather than using the glass carafe. I did this when I was trying to figure out where the weird taste was coming from. It was still there after I started using the glass jug, so it probably isn't the carafe.

Purchased this for our motorhome to use on the road so don't have to buy plastic bottles and jugs of water. Distills about a gallon of water in about 3.5 hours. Runs quiet. Have used about 10 times so far. Definitely better than we anticipated for the price. Only drawback is the plug for the top to plug into the bottom unit is bit loose, but definitely not a problem. A lot quieter than our home unit that we purchased a few years back which runs very loud and takes about 4 hours per gallon. Would recommend this product

The top piece that houses the fan and drip nozzle is a little noisy when it's running but that's a minor issue. If I fill it with hot water from the sink to full it takes just under 3 hours to finish its process. I bought this because I have a CPAP device and need distilled water. I haven't had any build up in my CPAP so that tells me this is getting out all the bits it needs to. Also the water is good tasting as well.

My husband and I recently moved overseas. He uses a C pap and needs distilled water. Unfortunately the country we moved to doesn't sell distilled water. We bought this product and it distills the water perfectly! It is user friendly and I would recommend this to anyone!
