Directions are not clear on the cleaning, but once figured out, they're ok. There is no place in the directions that mention how to change the filter or even where it is. Once figured out, it works well.

Very satisfied - use it daily and is trouble free for the last month or so have had it.

Great product,the fan is a little noisy, a splash of vinegar cleans it better that most products. My first one is 2 years old and I use it almost daily and it has held up very well. Use a 750 watt timer for double safety shut off and set to turn off with about a 1/2 inch of water left in it for easier cleaning as the crud really sticks to the stainless.

it may take several weeks to be delivered, but it works really well and seems to be the same thing as other more expensive brands. not all that loud - i have it in another room and it's like a modest fan. put a silicone straw or something in the receptacle so you don't get the dripping sounds.there is some suction when you go to remove the top to clean and refill - the grid on the top has sharp edges - watch your hands! no big deal once you are aware.overall, it's great.

Good for about one year. Better than buying an expensive one with all the maintenance. This is the throw away version. I try to distill 3-5 gallons daily.

I needed the distiller for my husband's natural cancer protocol that required pure water. My 25 year old unit was aluminum and starting to have an after taste. I let the company know just in case something happened during the warranty period and the response was quick and willing to replace it. I love this unit, the water is pure and taste good, it is easy to clean (very important) and we have the water in 4 hrs instead of 6. I am so pleased with the quality of this unit in every way.

Makes 1 gallon every 3.5 hours. Soap that came with it was rock hard and unusable but let it set a couple hours with water and half cup of vinegar and it's good as new. I use it for my 2 humidifiers and couldn't be happier.

I like to use the distilled water in my humidifier it does not leave the white residue on everything like using regular tap water.
