I bought this to make water that won't kill my herb plants with chlorine. Once I used this and saw what is actually in my water, I use this every day for drinking water. I came back here to order a second jug, just so I dont have to go four hours waiting for the next jug to fill up.If I put my hand over the top, I can feel a warm breeze. I don't notice it otherwise. I guess my AC is working harder.Using this distiller is really easy, until you let the sediment cook onto the empty bottom. The shutoff sensor doesn't trigger until the lack of water creates excess heat. By then, tap water gunk is cemented on the bottom of the basin. But then you just boil more water with a sprinkle of fruit acid and it comes right off.The machine is super stable, and yet lightweight. Excellent design.I haven't figured out what the carbon packs are for.I just love it.

Flavor is ok but the product made water for first 8 days then broke. Thinking I broke it I got another and it had holes in it too, I showed the holes to morphon and they want me to take it to a repair guy which don’t work for me cuz I’m disabled, I need my water so I’ll buy a heavy duty one I guess but I recommend do not buy their products cuz they don’t guarantee the products work and definitely won’t give u ur money back even with evidence smh.

Sadly, it does not come with a plug. But once we bought a plug for it, it worked great.

Tucson, Az. water is very hard. Hubby has a lung disease. Must Use distilled water for humidifier and Cpap machine.Have had it for a month now. Hubby tried heating up water on electric stove but not too much difference. Takes 3 1/2 hours per gallon. He Usually makes 3 gallons a day. We also share with our daughter who needs a humidifier for her son who has Asthma.Unfortunately, machine Heats up the room TREMENDOUSLY.WOULD BE GREAT in the Winter time. While distilling gives off HORRIBLE heat inside a room during the Summertime. Month of June we ended up putting it outside on a table. Hubby cleans it weekly with crystal cleaner, purchased separately on Amazon. It does take alittle time and effort with this process but it's worth it. Machine is a bit costly but pays for itself by using LESS store bought DISTILLED PLASTIC BOTTLES AND WE'RE DOING OUR PART TO SAVE THE PLANET.

My husband has to use a sleep apnea machine. And he needs to use distilled water for it. During that pandemic at times it was hard to find and if we did find it they would limit it. Since he's a trucker he needs to take at least 2 gallons on the road or he would run out. Now I just make it at home takes about 5 hours but I just set it before I go to bed and wake up to a gallon of fresh distilled water. The machine shuts it self off works great super easy, flavor is great. Its pretty easy to clean too!

In the few weeks I've had this, I have already made over 40 gallons. It takes about 4 hours and 20 minutes to make a gallon in my experience. That gallon uses 3.1 KW of electricity as well. It took some time in my mind to trust the water, but I do trust the water now. I measured it for totally dissolved solids and got zero even though I started at 90. I wish it was easier to remove the hard water deposits, but it's not a fault of the manufacturer, but a fault of my hard water. The de-scalar they provide does work. I found it was easier and quicker to use than vinegar.
