Instead of continually buying plastic bottles of distilled water I can now reuse the same bottles plus at times distilled water is hard to buy. It takes approximately 3 hours to make about 4 litres of water and the machine turns itself off when finished.

I bought one of these when I saw how the water from the tap was leaving white scum marks all up the sides, and over the bottom of my kettle. I wondered what sort of chemicals they were now putting in our water and I did not like to think what it was doing to our insides. I also saw the chemical scum left in the distiller tank after a usage, and thought I'd rather that got washed down the sink. So, I bought this distiller and what a difference it has made so far. I can now taste things (I drink a lot of water), where I couldn't, before. Water tastes so much nicer now. I would highly recommend these to anyone.

This unit is actually AWESOME! First 2 uses had a little scale on the base but none since then. I use mine for distilling alcohol and it is well suited to this - I want to buy the temp controlled one to compare but I have to say I am pleasantly surprised with this unit. For those distilling - 1hr 20 minutes is the time for 55-65% ALC/vol - make sure to have some copper in :-)

Works a treat as an air still along with a voltage controller. Delivery was fast & exactly as described. Been using it on a regular basis for over a year now. sometimes I even use it to distill water

I ordered this item as it was cheaper than (continually buying) bottles of distilled water, which I use often in my workshop. The quality of the product was good and I was impressed by how much water it distils, in just a few hours. I recommend this product.

Good product that does the job well

I use it to produce distilled water for a CPAP machine. I've only used it once so far and I didn't have any problems. The only minor thing is that it's a bit noisy. Also the instructions could be a bit better (larger font). My eye sight isn't as good as it once was.

I am VERY happy with my “Water Distiller” purchase. It is virtually exactly the same as my previous distiller but with a few extra features, like the On/Off switch to accompany the Reset switch, and it came with the citric acid cleaner, so excellent value for money, especially compared to competitors prices. The only (slight) downer was I don’t recall the option of buying extra citric acid cleaner or extra carbon filters at the purchasing website, which I’m sure I would have bought if I saw it. But overall, a fantastic experience!
