Distilled water, one gallon in 4 hrs. Simple.

Works well - not very noisy, even. Fill up the bottom, put the plastic jar under the spout, and walk away - it will fill up the jar (not quite a gallon) and quit. The water seems fine - I don't have a way of testing it, but it's working in my CPAP machine with no scale showing. There is scale beginning in the bottom of the distiller; I need to scrub it a bit after each use (it comes with a cleaning solution, I haven't tried that yet because a light scrubbing seems to be enough). It also comes with two extra packets of charcoal, as filters - you tuck a packet inside the spout (one is already installed on arrival) and it does a little extra filtering as the distilled water comes through. This was worth it. It is quite large, though, I'm still moving it around and figuring out where it can live when I'm not using it - I don't need it to run every day, or even every week, so it doesn't need to live front and center in my kitchen.

I bought one of these when I saw how the water from the tap was leaving white scum marks all up the sides, and over the bottom of my kettle. I wondered what sort of chemicals they were now putting in our water and I did not like to think what it was doing to our insides. I also saw the chemical scum left in the distiller tank after a usage, and thought I'd rather that got washed down the sink. So, I bought this distiller and what a difference it has made so far. I can now taste things (I drink a lot of water), where I couldn't, before. Water tastes so much nicer now. I would highly recommend these to anyone.

Saves me time and money .I no longer have to go to the store and buy gallons of water. I am also in control of my own water now.

Amazing water product, great to drink clean pure water

This is my second distiller. My first one was bought used and lasted 6 years. It went out last week. This one looks just like it and the price was good so I ordered it. Delivered it in a timely manner. I read instructions and ran a clean up first then a full run. Very impressed with this unit...

At $1.50/gal for distilled water it may take a while to recoup the $60 investment (plus energy use). It makes a gallon in a couple hours. I’ve found it works a lot better at night when the ambient air is cooler. I’ve made 5 gallons so far and only had to lightly scrub the inside with soap/water. Time will tell how it holds up. So far so good.

We live in a small town. Sometimes our water looks more like weak tea than water. Eww… This little machine distills a gallon of great tasting water in just over 3 hours. It’s nice and hefty and it gets put to good use about 5 x’s per week. We’ve had this model for a year now and doesn’t disappoint. We don’t let it run itself out so it doesn’t burn and stain the stainless tank. Whenever it does get to looking dirty, the powder it comes with cleans it up nicely.

I've been using water distillers for many years. This is the fourth one I have purchased. The water tastes so clean and pure! I will continue to use these the rest of my life! I have found scrubbing the inside with a stainless steel mesh after each use, keeps the build up at a minimum. If you need distilled water for a c-pap or an iron, this is perfect!

As others mentioned, I received a Vevor-branded unit, which is great. I found that if I discard the first liter of distillate, the next two liters dispensed are pure 0 PPM TDS distilled water, not even using the carbon filter that came with the unit. Recommend distilling into glass. Super happy with the purchase.
