Best product and excellent service! Bought myself one and gifted my siblings and families with same product for their homes.

We have an ice maker that needs distilled water (otherwise it crusts over and stops working) - so we bought this machine. It does a good job taking the tap water and converting it to distilled water - and it is easy to use. The one down side is that it takes around 3 hours to complete the cycle, and it is a fairly loud machine while it is operating. I would suggest running the machine when you are not home, or finding a place that you can run it where it won't be a nuisance. It does shut itself off automatically - so running it while you are out of the house is an option. It does what it is designed to do - and our ice machine is working beautifully.

Unit was easy to set up and distills fast.

This thing is great. It does take a few hours to get one gallon of water processed. I am using the distilled water for my steam vaporizer that runs all winter. I'm hoping by making my own distilled water, that I can avoid the mineral buildup that is like concrete to try and clean out. I have this machine running day and night. It does put off some heat and humidity while it is running. I moved mine from the kitchen counter to the laundry room, but I do have to leave the door open or it's like a sauna in there.

Ive been wanting one of these and when I saw the price I jumped at it. Its amazing and I love this thing so much I just ordered one for my son and daughter in law! Great survival tool!

I purchased this distiller back in May (2023) and as of this week, I crossed the threshold of distilling 40+ gallons. (I use for my husband's CPAP machine, and my humidifier). Consequently, at the cost of $2.00 + that I was paying at the supermarket for a gallon of distilled water, this great machine has now paid for itself. Not to mention I've kept 40 plastic gallon jugs out of the landfill! I distill two gallons every week or so, and simply know that I will run this machine most of the day. It takes about 3.5 hours to distill a gallon, and I rinse out in between making two gallons at a time. I decant from the jug that came with the unit into a 2 gallon glass container with a spigot (the kind folks use for ice tea and lemonade at parties). There is a bit of mineral residue after every run, and I simply put a splash of water over the residue and use a sprinkle of the citric crystals that came with the machine (yes, there is still a bit of crystals left after 40 runs) and let it sit overnight. I then use a gentle scrubbie and the residue comes right off. When I run out of the crystals, I'll likely just use a bit of vinegar. This distiller does heat up the laundry room a bit, so in the summer I let it run on our deck throughout the day. Now that it's winter it's a plus to warm up the laundry room! Love this machine! Love not tossing plastic jugs out (and from here on out, will love that every gallon will be 'free').

Works as advertised. My wife uses a gallon of distilled water a week for a CPAP machine humidifier. This will pay for itself in a year. Easy to use and clean.

We bought this to make distilled water mainly for our vacuuming and mopping robot and the air humidifier and it has paid for itself in convenience to have distilled water on hand as I was having a hard time finding distilled water gallons at the grocery store. It is a time saver and ensures we always have distilled water on hand!
