Just what I wanted, expedited efficiently, but delivery took forever (xmas build up I guess), I would not hesitate to purchase other products from this supplier

This is my second Vevor distiller. The first unit I ordered directly from Vevor website. I loved it until it started leaking. I learned the hard way NOT to let it shut off on its own, the residue bakes on and creates tiny holes in the stainless bowl. Also clean every other time, instead of every 3-4 times. Second unit, I set the timer on my phone for 3 hrs 35 min, to catch it while there was still a little water remaining. I tend to use it in spurts, as I make colloidal silver and when my 5 gallon jug needs filling, I spend 2-3 days distilling water and brewing CS. This time I was on day 3 of distilling, I had one more gallon to go before I could put it away for a couple months again. I went to clean it between gallons and set the timer for 10 min, came back and the water wasn't even warm. Long story short, it's not heating anymore. I'm hoping my husband can replace the heating element, as I saved my old unit for parts - and since they have different issues, my fingers are crossed. I bought this unit in October, so it's too late to return. It's a great distiller and I really like it, but if I have to replace it every 25-30 gallons, it would behoove me to just buy my distilled water by the gallon.

I have been using the flat out for one week making 16 litres of distilled water a day. Item did arrive damaged which appears to be a manufacturing issue as the packaging was not damaged. Vevor are sending a new fan cover to replace damaged unit

It's a nice looking appliance I was a little bit intimidated by the first use instructions, but after using it, I found that: 1: using it is simple 2: cleaning the stainless steel reservoir (using provided cleaning product) is a breeze 3: replacing the charcoal filter is simple. several replacement filters, enough for many, many gallons are provided

This is a wonderful product for people who need to use a cpap, humidifier etc. Using distilled water causes you not to have any mineral build up in any of these products. Buying jugs if distilled adds up and you have more waste to a landfill. Setting the product up is easy and only a few things you are required to out together. It takes around 2 hours to get a gallon of distilled water. The jug also comes with a lid so you can store it where you need to. The inside of the machine is sharp on top and you can easily cut yourself so take caution. The machine is not loud and makes a soothing hum when working. The dropping of the water into the jug is silent as well.

Was skeptical with reading some of the reviews but have had no issues. Only issue was with the fan motor. Worked fine at first then started vibrating. Found out the motor was not tight to the lid assembly. Problem fixed. Did not know that when cooling down I could plug the fan into the cord for the pot and that would cool everything down much faster. I like the citrus cleaner but it is to expensive to replace. Just used good old fashioned distilled vinegar with water. Just heated it enough to clean everything then rinsed it out good. No issues with leaking. Really no issues with cleaning. I do not let the unit run dry and let itself shut off. To me that is where all the problems would seem to start. I marked the blue water container as to where it should be when it is done distilling. When it reaches that mark I shut off the distiller and just plug the fan in. I use this distiller for my ultrasonic humidifier and it works great. On the average it does use around 3 kilowatts for a cycle of water but considering what I am saving in money in the long run it is worth the cost of the distiller. Have already made over 10 gallons this winter so far. With all the heat that is given off during distilling it works great on the heating bill. For me that is a plus also. So far a win win on everything. I would suggest not watching some of these videos where they mention using an sos pad or some other type of abrasive pad. That would definitely scratch the interior and in reality as long as you dont let it run dry cleaning it is easy. Basically clean it with a paper towel and that is it.

If you don't like stuff in your water this will make it pure, also if you have a well for water and it's hard water this makes amazing water for hair treatments (if your blonde the malibu hard water works wonders)

Distilled water is the best. BUT- You must suppliment mineral intake. Beats all other waters!!!!!
