First off, the container that came with it is plastic, not glass but that didn’t matter. Looks like a well made machine. I’m so glad I have this instead of lugging home plastic jugs of distilled water from the store for cpap and humidifier machines. That was such a hassle. I have very hard water at my house and I can’t even use filtered water in humidifiers because white dust appears everywhere! This was an easy set up , instructions were clear. Plug it in and you have distilled water in 3-4 hours with automatic shutoff. As far as cleaning , the instructions were simple. So glad I bought this, and the price is reasonable.

I purchased because I’m tired of dragging 5-5gallon bottles home every month and spending $40 on water! Boy oh boy, I’m surprised, grossed out and happy I got it. Also the sellers and customer service were amazing! My product got lost in the mail, I contacted them, they sent another right away and offered to compensate for the delay in delivery. Good product good seller!

Great price, works great! Too many poisons in water nowadays! Best to distill it, even bottled water is bad!

I raise carnivorous plants, which require water with low TDS ratings, so distilled water is the best option for me. Buying distilled water as the store adds up quickly, so I figured I'd give buying my own distiller a shot. It's been one of the best purchases I've made in a long time! It's a bit loud when it runs, but it's just white noise which I don't mind at all. It also puts off a lot of heat, which is something to be mindful of during warm weather, but it's been a really nice bonus during the winter storm we're in over in the PNW. It keeps the room nice and warm, so I've been able to give my heater a break. My TDS meter shows that the water this distiller produces ranges a little bit, but so far the max I've seen is around 7ppm, which is great! 100% would buy again if I ever need to replace the one I've got.

Needed this to distill water for a CPAP and humidifier as our water is very hard. It works great! Small footprint, light enough to move, cleans easily if you do it often enough enough, every 4-5 loads. Definitely either use a timer or be attentive to turning it off at the switch before it turns itself off, or the \"crud\" will get baked on.

I have been using this water distiller for 3 weeks now, making multiple gallons of distilled water a day and can say this distiller is great. The timing is nearly spot on at about 3 hours per gallon. The key, with all water distillers, to keeping this clean is timing. If you can stop the machine before you’ve completely distilled the entire tank, the cleaning is much easier as the scale doesn’t burn to the bottom. A couple of drops of white distilled vinegar and some water clean the tank right up. No scale, no smell, no issues. I change the internal filter in the nozzle every week to ensure good quality. Is this going to get you medical grade distilled water? No, absolutely not and that’s not what it’s advertised as. Will you get high quality distilled water for humidifiers, drinking, and other things like tabletop ice makers, etc? Absolutely. Highly recommended.

I bought two of these and I am now stocked with clean water. So easy to use. In some you can even make distilled spirits. I pour my water into Ball Jars for storage.
