Heeded the advice of other reviewers and got a countdown timer to cut off unit just before it completes, so the residue in the remaining water doesn't bake onto the bottom. I also clean the inside after each batch. This distiller is fairly quiet, and I have not noticed any strange odors as some have mentioned, they must have stinky water! Ours comes from a community well system, via our house water softener. Have run 6 or 8 batches so far, with no issues.

I've had this for quite awhile now and I use it all the time! Easy to clean, easy to use and I recommend this product for anyone out there looking to filter their water!

Just started using this and I'm impressed. Easy to run and clean.

This distiller is so worth the money! It does a superb job at distilling tap water. It makes a small amount of noise and it does require regular cleaning with the provided cleaner, which isn't much. I would suggest that you go ahead and buy a large container of the cleaner separate from this distiller. If you want a distiller, this is the one. I would buy it again!

I use this to reduce my tap water's EC for indoor gardening, and it accomplishes that. It doesn't bring the EC to 0, but it reduces it enough. I distill 1-3 gallons per day and haven't had any issues yet.

After using the distiller daily for several weeks now I’m sold on it. I bought the least expensive model but it does everything I want it to do at a fraction of the cost of buying and handling it from the store, when they have it. It’s very simple to operate and maintain but the instructions are pretty weak. Very happy with my purchase and would buy the exact same one again if had to do it over.

Product yields a gallon of purified water in three hours. A little noisy but worth it to not have to lug gallon jugs of water from the store several times a week to feed the humidifier. Easy assembly, easy to clean.

Easy to use and works well

Distills water as expected. I've only used this a few times and I've been quite happy with the results. Durability is currently unknown, but if it becomes an issue, I'll update this review.
