This review was submitted upon request and therefore can only be an assessment of its immediate usability and not any opinion on the product's longevity. I say this because Pot type counter distillers are notorious for having their thermal cutoff switch fail within a year. With those caveats stated this appears to be a good product sold at a competitive price. I encountered absolutely no difficulties unpacking it and getting it to work in about 15 minutes time.

After going to our local grocery store and seeing how much distilled water cost I decided to purchase this distiller to save money. If you start in the morning you can do three gallons a day. For me, and my wife it's paid for it already.

I originally purchased this for a humidifier as distilled water is always hard to find. I tasted the water and it was really fresh tasting. I ran it 3 times and the picture shows what was left in the bottom. I now know why I don’t drink water at home. Even filtered doesn’t taste good. I will always have a water distiller in my home from now on.

I have two I use some constantly if you look out you'll get a quiet one. I've had more expensive ones they're the same thing get the less expensive ones.

All I wanted was another glass decanter to replace the one I broke that came with one of my Megahome water distillers. I discovered that a glass decanter costs more than this Mophorn Water distiller and it comes with a plastic decanter. So, I bought the Mophorn. I've probably used it about 10 times and it seems to do a good job at quickly making a full decanter of distilled water. It's even faster than my much more expensive Megahome water distillers (I have two of them). However, I've used the Megahomes many, many times for several years and they haven't given me any problems. This Mophorn might last forever, I don't know, or it could crap out the next time I use it. But, overall, I like it and it's very easy to use. Excellent for the price.

I love that this uses filters. The water is really tasty! It distilled and filters the water! So great for small household!

It’s paid for itself 5 times over already! Very easy to use and easy to clean. The stuff they sent to clean it wasn’t usable, it was rock hard! I just use a little vinegar with water to clean it instead. It depends on the water you’re using to determine how often it needs to be cleaned. The trick is to not let it run dry. Once it runs dry, everything builds up. I would definitely reccomend!

Originally used it as we lived in an apartment that had poor quality tap water. Was able to distill the water to point that you could see all the calcium and rust left behind. Excellent to use for your child's milk.
