Love it!
Our last Distilled Water Maker lasted 7 years. This machine replaced it and so far it works great.

Effective and easy to use
I have a CPAP user in my household who goes through a lot of distilled water. I don't like bringing home gallons of water in plastic, as it creates a recycling problem, and transporting water on trucks to stores creates a carbon footprint problem. I don't know the carbon footprint of manufacturing this product and transporting it, but it's probably not small either, but hopefully it will last a long time, and I'll appreciate the convenience! As for how it works, I'm very happy with it. It's quick, starts producing water in just a few minutes. I will say that it's not perfectly manufactured, as I had to use some violence to install the spout correctly. I also don't know what the carbon filter is supposed to be for - distilled water should be nothing but H's and O's. Any volatile contaminants in the water should blow off and not get into your container (the cooling is a fan, not an ice bath), and particulates shouldn't be evaporating/volatilized. So that filter is probably not needed, and the water I've made is really clean without it. The unit is really big, and takes up a lot of space, as well as being hard to store. It isn't too hard to keep clean and remove the scale, but you do have to carefully handle the bulky unit as you clean it so the electronics don't get wet. Overall, I'm pleased with it.

Great for cleaning dirty, resin-laden isopropyl alcohol
I bought this for cleaning isopropyl alcohol I use to clean 3D prints made in a resin printer. This works MUCH better than any setup with filters or cheesecloth or any other method. No matter how contaminated, dirty IPA comes out crystal clear, virtually colorless and clean. My only complaint is that the rubber seal doesn't fit as snugly as it could/should and a small amount of alcohol leaks out around the seal during the distilling process. For distilling water this is no problem, but alcohol could potentially ignite. Putting some 1.5\" electrical tape around the sealing area mostly fixes that. If you use this for distilling alcohol, do it outside away from any structures, children, pets, etc. The left-over residue from the 3D resin is toxic, so wear gloves, a mask, and a scraper to clean the distillation bowl after use. This works perfectly for cleaning alcohol so I assume it would work fine for distilling water too.

Old version
Hi, I have the old version of this unit. Please keep in mind that at some point the thermal regulator and thermal switch will stop working. You’ll notice the unit will keep shutting off. On the old unit the thermal cut off switch is 110 degree C, which you will need to be replace. It’s a fairly easy replacement/fix. My unit cut off switch lasted 4 years before replacing, not used too often, only when soap making. They sell a pack of Thermal cut off switch if you need them replaced at some point, just search “thermal cut off switch 110 C”

Save money over time instead of buying bottled distilled water!
This machine is perfect for when you need distilled water for humidifiers, cpap machines, or other equipment that needs to have all chemicals and minerals removed. It is easy to clean. It takes about 4 hours to distill 1 gallon of water.

Amazing product
I use a lot of distilled water, so this thing is going to save me a bunch of money, and reduce the plastic waste I've been generating by buying gallons from the store.

Works great!
So glad I changed brands. CO-Z worked just as good however harder to remove top since no handle and more expensive. Vevor has a handle to HELP removing the top and has more features. And I think it’s a little more quieter as well. I bought it to basically use to with appliances, not for drinking purposes. But nice to also have that option as well. So far happy with the purchase. Now have to see how long it will last.

Fresh water when ever you need it.
I use distilled water for numerous things. Cpap, steam cleaner, mix my own detailer for auto use. Wife's iron, etc. Makes a gallon in about 3hrs, easy to use, clean out after about 3 uses. Only complaint is filling you have to unplug everything

reat price and does a great job
removes a lot from the water; stuff I'd be drinking with out it. And that is what I could see in the reservoir afterwards. The main reason I got it was for volatiles that have appeared recently in the city water that snake past my gravity filter. Now I use the distiller and then the gravity filter and get some great tasting water.

Cheap and easy.
Works well for distilled water, doesn't have any temperature control, so if not confident do not use for any other purpose as it boils vigorously. Robust, simple, cheap.
