Easy to connect but you need some physical strength to use it
Overall, when I connected the parts, I solved it in 5 minutes. It will be easy to cut some branches that are less than 2 inches in diameter, and it will take a few back and forth to get it done; larger diameters will take more effort on your part. If you attach more poles for cutting you will need some strength. But it’s worth it for a product that costs tens of dollars.

Strong
I really like this. The pole is strong even when extended. No regrets.

Great tool, exceeded expectations!
I will use it to trim trees, but now I am using it to clean my chimney which is difficult to reach.

Eureka!
Very cool, both in form and function. I used only the saw blade (sharp!) so the weight of the tool rests on a branch, but lifting it into position requires a little brawn especially the longer (higher) your requirements. At 6 ft, 240 lbs, this out of shape 68 year old guy didn't have a problem using it to remove a 25-30 ft tree, limb by limb, to avoid damaging the house or fence. It assembles/disassembles quickly and easily without tools and a very nice canvas storage case is included. DIY and save a bundle. I highly recommend this pole saw, we're extremely pleased with this purchase.

Overall, good choice for the price
I like the feel of the pole, and how it feels in the hand. Someone with smaller hands might find the pole too bulky to manage. The only concern I have with the pole itself, are the locking mechanisms, and I wonder how long they will last being hard plastic, and not having any adjustment. The saw is typical of any pruning saw, cutting on the draw, as in pulling toward the user. And it does not cut dead wood well, but does nicely on live wood, again, typical for a pruning saw.

This set works great. I did a little customizing by replacing the pole saw head and adding a pole pruner head of Arborist grade to one of the extensions.... Can't beat the price and versatility.....

A good workout for an old guy
I found this tool to be just what I wanted for removing limbs from a Red Cedar and opening up our view. The cost was way cheaper than what I was quoted to have a tree service contractor do the work. I used all the extensions to reach the highest limb. I found it's most efficient to saw by standing close to the tree with the pole almost vertical. The biggest branch I cut was about 4 inches thick and required a fair bit of energy on my part to saw through it . The added value of the nice carrying case and saw blade scabbard makes this a practical and affordable kit.

Bon rapport qualité - prix
Produit conforme à mon attente. Un peu lourd mais très rigide.

Easy attachments make this pole simple to extend or shorten
As I said in the headline, I like the way that the sections attach and unattach with this pole. It's very long, so if you have branches that are 25 feet up, you'll be able to reach them. I've used it with every section attached except for one. I like the fact that it is made out of fiberglass, so it would be safer than a metal pole if you are near any power lines. It's a bit wobbly when all or most of the sections are used, but that's to be expected. It's also difficult to lift the pole up in the air when all or most of the sections are attached, but again, you have to realize that a pole this long is going to be somewhat difficult to use. The pruning attachment has a double pullley system which allows you to have more cutting power with less tension on the pulling rope. 1 inch is about the maximum branch diameter that the pruner will cut.
