I purchased the 48” tile cutter to cut several large pieces of tile for a specific location in my home. It took a while to get to me but I appreciates that I was able to track the shipping across the country. When it arrived II was impressed with the size of the item and how it was built. It’s well constructed and feels sturdy. I’ve always used a wet saw to cut tile so there was a bit of a learning curve to getting it to work. Ultimately I decided not to use the large 24x48 inch tiles I had planned to in favor of small tiles. Every time I tried using the bigger tiles they would break somewhere along the score line causing me to have to replace them. So I changed to the small tiles and after a bit of getting used to the tool I was able to make perfect cuts on the smaller tiles. I was even able to cut some pieces less than an inch wide. My review isn’t intended to suggest this isn’t a good product. The problems I had were due to me being inexperienced using this type of tool. So I struggled in the beginning. Also the instructions are limited so using them to learn how to use the tool isn’t very helpful. I found really good videos on how to use the tool on YouTube if you’re using a tile cutter like this for the first time. So all in all I thought it was a great tool that I’ll get better at using with more use over time and I recommend buying it.

Very pleased with the 40” tile cutter,if you have only been using a wet saw, do yourself a favor, get one of these in the size needed, way faster. I was able to cut 36 inch tiles at about 1” wide, the length of the tile. Everything works great, laser was easy to adjust,only thing that would make it better would be auto off for the laser, keep running my batteries down because I leave it on. Otherwise I just love i! Ero dubbioso se acquistarla o meno, dopo qualche video e alcune recensioni mi sono deciso. Cosa dire... il suo lavoro lo fa egregiamente, sono rimasto stupito, taglia veramente bene, ho tagliato una piastrella in gres larga da 1 cm a 3cm per una lunghezza di 64,5 cm dello spessore di 7,5mm, con l'aiuto di una pinza per spezzarla in quanto l'appoggio non permette la rottura di fasci e cosí strette e come si puó vedere dalla foto è uscita perfettamente con una sola passata della lama. Unica pecca il supporto per i tagli in diagonale un pó ballerino ed i preciso, ma con una giusta taratura del laser si puó fare di tutto.
