The copper tube out of the pot and into the condenser should be longer (at least 12 inches) The join on the vertical of the pot can be seen as a hairline crack.(This is what my pot has even though there is no leak)

Great setup for a beginner just starting out and doesn't have much knowledge on thumper kegs. Easy to set up and run. Most people will say the condenser is too small and overflows but they just don't know how to properly use it. Just put the setting on low and open the outlet valve fully and the inlet a little less than fully open and it should never overflow at all. It takes a bit of tinkering to figure out the sweet spot of the valves. Instruction booklet also has some pretty good recipes in it as well. Not too good of detail in some pictures beings they are kind of hard to see due to the poor image quality but has detailed instructions written step by step. But for the price it is you can't go wrong with it. Perfect gift for a knew hobbyist starting out the art of distilling.
