Works great, love the finished product!
This button maker is great. I think anyone who has issues with this may not be using it quite right. It somewhat straightforward to assemble, and easy to use. I agree with everyone, the circle cutter it comes with is useless... the blade is cheap and it tends to slide away from where you cutting, not to mention it tears printer paper. I just use a tiny pair of scissors to cut out my designs. I also use photo paper for the design material, and cut the circle slightly larger than the pin back (as pictured).

Pretty good for the price
I just made 100 buttons and it’s really easy to use. My only issue is that when I got it there was red paint chipped off but it works pretty good for $100.

No complaints
The only problems I have encountered were a direct result of my own experimenting or incorrect usage. One of the photos in a negative review by another buyer show clearly that the machine was not even assembled correctly before use! It's the buyer's responsibility to get at least the basic setup right before coming here and bashing the machine, manufacturer, or any other party involved with the distribution and sales. My machine arrived safe, in one piece, and looking as good as one could hope for. Operation is simple and smooth. If you do what you are supposed to do with it, you shouldn't have any problems, assuming you didn't get a faulty machine in the first place. The resulting buttons as a whole depend on the materials you use, how you handle the machine, and whether or not you know any tricks to get exactly what you want out of it. Overall, I recommend it to anyone wanting an affordable, easy-in, assuming you can follow basic setup instructions.

You鈥檒l love it
Super easy...once you figure out how to make it work. No struggling and makes buttons like a pro!!! I love it! Instructions are worthless...I posted a video because it’ll save you time when you figure out that one troubleshooting issue

Take Your Time to Set Up Properly
I purchased this button maker for work and the interns who were assigned to use it said it was broken, did not work, etc. I asked for the machine back. I took the time to look up exactly how to set it up and use (the single page piece of paper that comes with it leaves MUCH to be desired). I spent about 45 minutes total reading and following the directions (plus a little trial and error), and making 2 buttons. After those test buttons it now takes less than a minute to make a button when you have your design cut out. There is a review on one of the product pages for the same punch where the buyer laid out step-by-step how to use it correctly and for the life of me I cannot find it again to link it here. I will tell you this - forget about the free accessory cutter that comes with it. Buy a 1-1/4 inch circle punch along with the machine. Life gets just that much easier. Also, mine did not come as pictured. Instead of the multiple small springs under the dies, it has a single large coil spring on each. Be sure these are not completely compressed, you need the spring to be functional so the outer part of the die actually lowers as you bring down the handle (be careful not to extend TOO far as when you reach the end of the bolt, it WILL pop apart - learned the hard way but it DOES go back together). If the die does not move up and down, the design paper and plastic disk will not fold around the metal disk and then lock into the upper part of the die - yes it should this. When you slide the second die over, the one that puts the pin on the back, it will release from the upper part and the finished piece will be in the lower part.
great game!! great game!!
Awesome Purchase!
I LOVE this machine. Easy to assemble. Super easy to use. My buttons look AWESOME!!! I‘ve made over 150 so far and threw out maybe 5 buttons. Was worried after reading reviews - complaints were likely user error. This machine works perfectly for me.
