We've had this for a few months now and so far it has worked great being used once or twice a week. You can tell from the weight it's a substantial appliance, not like the other versions that don't stay open, have the grids fall out, etc.It's very similar to the style you see in the breakfast area at hotels and is just as easy to use.Exactly what we were looking for and at a decent price for a commercial quality waffle maker that's seeing residential use.

Love the different settings. It makes perfect Belgium Waffles! Very easy to use and clean.

I'm not a professional cook but I bought this because I'm tried of buying waffle makers that was full of plastic, so far cooking with thus has been great. Not a problem with it. I think if you can save money in the long run by buying this machine, hard to store but worth the issuse.

Bought this for a hot pot and to make awesome egg waffles - for the price? You can't beat it. It does the job and everybody was satisfied with the results. Cons: ▪️It's in celsius instead of Fahrenheit. Not a deal breaker, but it'd be nice. ▪️It is *not* very safe for a few reasons. The handle connects directly to the heat plates. This causes the screws to also get hot. Ask me how I know how! ▪️The pan isn't fully connected - and rests in a bracket with a screw. You can pick it up and out of this bracket. ▪️The wires connecting to the top and bottom of the griddles can get tangled. ▪️The instructions and label on the device should have someone go over it. It seems to have just been put through a translator which makes it a little hard to understand. That being said, none of these are deal breakers. If you're comfortable with the appliance having a few dangerous elements - save yourself some money and get this if you want to make a large amount of egg waffles quickly. It does the job as long as you're keeping mind of what you're doing.
