I used it for the first time today. PROS: * It was very easy to setup IF you don't use the included manual. Head to Youtube for instructions. *It worked. *Appears to be high quality. *Very quiet pump. CONS: *There were no instructions for adding the oil, assembling the pressure gauge, or snipping the plug on top of the gauge. *Oil container did not have enough oil to fill the pump. When I asked about it, I was told to go buy some #46 pump oil. I knew there wouldn't be enough after viewing several YouTube videos. I used it to degauss the epoxy resin before pouring it. It worked perfectly. There were no bubbles in the pour. I vacuumed three times, each time torching off the bubbles. On the third time, I added color, torched off the bubbles, and poured into the mold. I would give the manual and assembly instructions a ONE STAR, but that is not totally fair for the overall rating, because it does appear to be high quality and works well with little effort. I would recommend the chamber, just not the documentation.

My wife and I are just starting out as Epoxy resin makers. We have been looking for a degassing chamber for some time. This setup is exactly what we were looking for. It's a great price and does exactly what we wanted.

Fast shipping and very well packaged as usual. Only tested it once so far so I can’t really vouch for its longevity but it seems to work great, especially for under $200.

This Vacuum works as it should. Sometimes the suction of the lid doesn’t quite lineup with the container as the rubber around the top of container is not very wide. But once you mess around to get it in the right spot it works great. If you find it’s not suctioning, just push down on the lid while it’s running at the start to help it Squish against rubber and it works fine from there. When you see the dial starts to move, you can let go of the lid. If you find it’s not working, you need to just fiddle around with the rubber seal on the container. I use it to vacuum RTV moulds for lost wax Jewellery.

Works as expected so far. Seems to use a lot of oil but that might be the same for all vacuum pumps.

I bought this for degassing resins and it does exactly that. Easy to use with plenty of space inside. Does what it should and does it well.

this item does a great job of vacuum sealing food storage jars. i use it almost every day to reseal open food jars. i think this will save me a lot of money in wasted food. for single people that can not use up food before best use by date. this is a great tool to save food. delivery was fast and on time. the only problem i saw was the shipping box was in bad shape with a lot of damage to the box. not any damage to the product, it was in perfect shape. very well packaged .
