Distiller used for both water and alcohol. Temperature control keeps from burning liquid. Auto shutoff when empty is a nice feature.

Works fast
Communication with my seller was a bit of an issue to start but I got my unit and it works great to recover Alcohol from a solution with distillation using this unit. It works pretty fast. To help improve the seals I use some Teflon Tape as well.

Very good
Very good product, exactly as described. I like that you control the temperature on it.

Works very well; no issues after a lot of use.
Unit works very well. No rust issues or any electrical problems. Very easy to keep clean. Temperature control is very sensitive: if set too low it will cut out very quickly, cool down before turning on again. Best to just run it at 95 degrees. Use unit at room temperature; using in a cold environment will cause the unit to not power on. Have distilled over 100 litres and no issues yet.

Best countertop water distiller I could find but still not ideal
The instructions need serious re-writing with illustrations. For those of you who may be wondering, set the thermostat to 105 degrees at the beginning of every cycle ... that should be the default, not 95 degrees 9the instructions do not state that). And get a native English speaker to write them. How about some instructions on how to install the replacement fuse?! That would be a big improvement! Hey everybody, the carafe is glass not plastic as stated on the website. The power cord from the top to the bottom is about 4 inches too long. Nice things: the carafe has a large hole that allows pouring without spilling like the other H2O company's. The top lift handle allows the top to be easily removed with less risk of burning than the other models.Shiny steel body is nice-looking.

Constant use seems fine. Love the water!
We live in the city and only drink this now. We do re-mineralize it. Delicious! After you buy it run a few gallons through it before tasting. Andy get a timer and don't let it run out of water (set the timer to 3 hours and it won't dry in the resovoir)

Amazing product and seller
Great for distilling Alcohol. Really satisfied. Had an issue and it was immediately rectified by the seller. Nothing but good things to say about this product and the seller.

better than others I've used
This is the 4th countertop distiller I have purchased. Previous makes and models all came with a mechanical on switch that was easily damaged. This unit has an electronic temperature control that not only eliminates the bad switch design, it also regulates the temperature so that the residue doesn't bake on the bottom once the unit runs dry. Although I've only had this unit running for a week or so, I like the way it's built and expect it to work well for years to come. All these units also suffer from the potential for water droplets to get into the power cord socket area and short out the machine. One must be very careful not to let this happen with any countertop unit. I lost 1 unit that way a year ago. Just a word to the wise.
