Easy to use.
Surprised by the amount of stuff in my tap water. Super gross. The cleaning crystals that come with the machine help make cleaning out the gunk really easy. Just make sure to rinse out your filter pack so it doesn't get into your clean water.

Excellent product, excellent service
I bought this water distiller because it bothered me to keep having to recycle plastic bottles from distilled water I bought for my CPAP machine. The machine is easy to operate, built with what seem to be quality materials and works well. I feel safe with it sitting on the kitchen table even with children in the house, because it is safe to operate and there are no outward safety hazards. Further to this, my order was accidentally sent to the wrong suburb by the post office. While this was no fault of Vevor, their staff recognised the issue immediately and dispatched a second machine to my address. I really appreciated this prompt and efficient resolution to my issue. Thank you, Vevor! I would buy from your company again.

Carafe broke
This distiller works great for water but the glass carafe broke about the 5th time I used it. It cracked halfway around the top. I didn't want to buy a machine with a plastic carafe because I thought the glass would last longer.

It's crap. Don't buy it.
Had it for about a year. The water tastes metallic and gross, so I mostly used it for my aquarium and humidifier. I was happy with it before the inside rusted through and dumped boiling water all over my kitchen floor. Stainless steel my ass. I didn't see the rust due to the mineral scale that forms inside.Don't buy this. It's a cheap, crappy machine, cobbled together in China. You get what you pay for, and now I get to pay for new floors.I did like that it was red though.

First Time Buyer
I purchased this appliance for the first time to eliminate the need to buy bottled, distilled water. It worked perfectly. The instructions were not readable but I went to YouTube and reviewed the available videos on how to set it up and to clean the unit after use. Good purchase.

Overall it was a good product
I liked everything but when pouring from the container it does have poor sprout.

Temperature control is the way to go
This distiller works very well. I have read several reviews complaining about water taste not being consistent from batch to batch and other issues. Others have complained about the TDS (total dissolved solids) being high after the distillation process. Anyway, I have come up with a routine that so far each batch is consistent in taste (taste exactly like commercial distilled water), and the TDS is zero as it should be. Best of all, I don't use the charcoal filter.I fill it up with hot water. At my location it takes 20 minutes to reach full boil. I let it boil with the lid (fan unit) off for 5 to 7 minutes (this allows the VOC gases to boil off). I then place the lid on and collect the first half cup in a separate container - this is discarded just like "moonshiners do in their process. Then I collect in the glass pitcher - I use a timer to control when to shut it off. I leave about an inch of water in the distiller when the timer turns it off. That water is nasty. Leaving water in the distiller makes it easier to clean and avoids the risk of boiling unwanted contaminates at higher temps into your clean water! Following this procedure, my water taste good every time and I do not use the charcoal filter. The only long term concern I have is figuring a good way to prevent moisture from sitting in the condenser loop during storage periods. I worry about a bacteria forming there and that the water is not hot enough at that point to kill the bacteria??? So far, it has not been a problem.I did not have a good experience with Mophorn (the seller), and I don't recommend them. However, the temp controlled distiller works very well and I am please with it

Worth the Money
I have friends who use more expensive models (2-3x the price) that work no better than this one. It is easy to use and takes up little more counter space than a Keurig coffee maker. It will distill one gallon of water in 2 hours or less. I used a dissolved solids meter to measure the purity and it went from 250 ppm tap water to 3 ppm after one run. If you are a purist and want 0 ppm, you will need to double run each batch, which I don't think is worth it, but that's just me. The directions are skimpy, but you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out how to use it. It is amazing how much crap it removes from the water. You will need to scour out the reservoir periodically, but it is stainless steel and cleans easily enough. It's a best buy.
