Produces good-quality distilled water, no problems so far. Reasonably quiet, and easy to use with its flexible temperature control. We previously purchased a similar-looking unit from a different vendor that has a simple mechanical over-temperature end of cycle switch. That was junk: it reached a higher end temperature that burned on the inevitable mineral deposits, and broke after just four cycles. This Mophorn unit is much better, with its sensitive digital control shutting it off without overheating. One problem: the default temperature after switching on is always 95 Celsius, but you need to manually set it to about 105 C to evaporate water. Unfortunately, that means it can't be used with a timer, for example to set it in advance to take advantage of cheap overnight electricity, or to come on in the morning to warm up the kitchen. Dropped a star because of that.MOPHORN - product improvement suggestions:1. Remember the last temperature used for when the unit is powered up again, or2. Make the default temperature 105C for compatibility with water (most common use), or3. Best of all, incorporate a start delay countdown timer, like other energy-hungry appliances do (washing machine, dishwasher etc.) You could add a dedicated 'Delay' button to select a delay time. Or, without changing the controller hardware, repurpose the 'Reset' button: press once to enter a temperature, press again to enter a delay time (number of hours).
