easy
Its very simple to use, simple to clean and works like a charm. We are big water drinkers in our household and this has already paid for itself. Its amazing the money we used to spend on bottled water! no more, this tastes better as well because it is not sitting in plastic as bottled water is. JR

Water never tasted so good! Easy to use...
Works great and is very efficient! You end up with about a gallon of water in about 4 hours...

Unconventional use worked perfectly!
Purchased this product for a more non-conventional use of filtering IPA for 3D resin model cleaning. This works perfectly and makes the IPA as clean as newly purchased. Obviously, tasting it is not allowed. :)

Versatile distiller, reliable digital controls
Produces good-quality distilled water, no problems so far. Reasonably quiet, and easy to use with its flexible temperature control. We previously purchased a similar-looking unit from a different vendor that has a simple mechanical over-temperature end of cycle switch. That was junk: it reached a higher end temperature that burned on the inevitable mineral deposits, and broke after just four cycles. This Mophorn unit is much better, with its sensitive digital control shutting it off without overheating. One problem: the default temperature after switching on is always 95 Celsius, but you need to manually set it to about 105 C to evaporate water. Unfortunately, that means it can't be used with a timer, for example to set it in advance to take advantage of cheap overnight electricity, or to come on in the morning to warm up the kitchen. Dropped a star because of that.MOPHORN - product improvement suggestions:1. Remember the last temperature used for when the unit is powered up again, or2. Make the default temperature 105C for compatibility with water (most common use), or3. Best of all, incorporate a start delay countdown timer, like other energy-hungry appliances do (washing machine, dishwasher etc.) You could add a dedicated 'Delay' button to select a delay time. Or, without changing the controller hardware, repurpose the 'Reset' button: press once to enter a temperature, press again to enter a delay time (number of hours).

This is the one to get.
Get this one. I researched these countertop distillers to get the best. This model is stainless steel, has an adjustable temperature setting, compartment for a charcoal filter inline with the output flow, and came with a glass carafe (not plastic). What a convenience not to have run out and buy distilled water for my CPAP machine! I have read that it can also distill hand sanitizer-quality alcohol. Highly recommend this one!

Easy to use, works well
This was very easy to set up and to use. I especially like the temperature selection capability. All other brands seem to be on or off, they run at maximum temperature. At first I thought it was malfunctioning, when it shut off in mid-run, but I realize it “hovers” at the set temperature, cycling power on its own. Once you get used to it, it is a nice feature.

Great Product!
Got it for almost a week now, I use it daily for my humidifier and it works very well so far! Highly recommend!
Hiding from the sun. Hiding from the sun.
Good water distillation device.
Chromed, shiny exterior on the boiling vessel, black, plastic cooling top. Works well, has a plug with a ground (3 blades). There is a control pad with flexible plastic covered buttons to adjust the distillation temperature up and down from 95 to 108 Celsius, which means it could be utilized for things other than just water potentially. The collection vessel is glass with a plastic handle the user must attach with a metal band, bolt, and nut. I have not accurately timed it, but I believe it completes a gallon distillation run of water in under 6 hours, making it faster than the much older distiller it replaced. I suspect the plastic cover on the buttons may wear out over the years since it's necessary to adjust the temperature every time (it defaults to 95C every time it's restarted which will never distill water).

Overall a very useful tool to make healthier water
This product is a good addition to kitchen for healthier water, better option than bottled distilled water. The design looks nice, but less practical than it should be. Be mindful when you use it:1. Use a timer (Amazon echo or something) ,and don’t let the water runs dry. turn off the distiller or add more water when the water is low. It doesn’t have a on/off switch, so an Amazon plug would be handy. The auto-shutoff is more of a safety feature. If the distiller runs dry frequently, eventually it will burn out.2. Use filtered water to distill, something like Brita water pitch. The filter doesn’t filter out minerals or lead, which is the reason to distill the water. Don’t use the carbon filter coming with the distiller. It bad for taste to say the least.3. The glass jar is strong, but it won’t survive for too long if you lift up with a gallon of water in it. Use it as storage tank only, and use a big spoon and a glass bottle or something to scoop the water out and carry it around.4. The glass jar is a bit too high. Better to lift the distiller up a bit to make it easier to remove the cover on the jar.Overall, it’s a useful appliance and looks nice, but with quite a few practical flaws that can be got around. It’s basically a electric water boiler, and should last long so far as you don’t let the water run dry.

Functional - does its job and economical
It was easy to together and work as desired. Does not generate loud noises as my other water distiller and at only 1/3 the cost. So far very satisfied when using it every other day.
