It works great, im very pleased
Im very pleased with the still so far. Ive only distilled water in it so far, but it works perfectly. It has a temperature adjuster so I can turn it down if I want to distill other things. The highest it can go is 108 which is perfect for water. Its easy to clean and easy to set up, its actually completely self explanatory. It will also shut itself off if you walk away and it finishes all the liquid you put in it, just don't put in more then what will fit in the container your having it fill. Id recommend buying this product. Very easy to use. Its a bit pricey, but other then that, there isn't anything wrong with it.

Works as stated, maintenance is a chore but distills as advertised.
The cleaning compound came completely compacted. Literally as hard as a brick. Distiller works as advertised but cleaning is a chore. The very limited paperwork states that neither the top or pot are to be submerged in water so cleaning is an arduous task. ‘Haven’t contacted anyone about the compound yet but is useless as is. An “on/off” switch would be nice.

Much more versatile than the units without temp control
Much more versatile than the units without temp control. The handle is NOT for transporting the thing... it's for lifting the top half of the unit from the base. Better to ignore the handle and give the unit a good bear hug top and bottom, twisting it off slowly especially if your contents are still hot. The glass container is NOT pyrex/shatterproof.Have run thru 100 batches + over the past few months and unit is still going strong. Tip: speed up the process considerably by separately pre-heating liquid over the stove to 70 degrees C / 158 degrees F. Ditch the carbon filter inside the spout and filter your production thru activated carbon contained in a stainless steel sink strainer available from any dollar store.

Came broken but easy fix and works like a charm.
When I received the still it was packaged amazingly well. After I unpacked everything and cleaned it I started it up. The temperature buttons didn’t work and the power button stopped working. I thought maybe I got water in the machine when I cleaned it but when I opened the bottom, nuts and washers came falling out. After some searching I found that the display panel was missing nuts and other were almost backed all the way off. I took the display apart and made sure there was no water in the circuit board. I put it back together with the lose parts I found. It fired up and all buttons worked (took about 20 minutes). I ran a 4 liters of water for a clean run at 108c and it worked fine. Now I am distilling some “essential oils” at 95c and it is working great. I am a little concerned about the wires for the electrical stuff at the bottom being so close to the burner. There is come shielding over the burner but when I opened it after 1-2 minutes of running it was really hot down there and the wires are maybe 1 inch from the burner. I plan on shielding the wires and adding some insulation between the pot and the external case. There is a lot of heat loss there and some insulation should help with efficiency. I also plan to add some high temp silicone to the screen and the power plugs to make sure water can’t get in easily. For the price I would 100% buy again even with the problems. QC is definitely lacking on the still so make sure everything is tight and in place before you fire it up.

Very good distiller
The local water supply is terrible so we have turned to drinking distilled water. Over the years we have owned several distillers, but they typically do not last long--some of them only last 6 months with our using over a gallon of drinking and cooking water every day. We have owned this distiller for over a year and it has been the best one we have had. We clean it with vinegar after each use and vacuum out the lint the fan vents in the top every month. With this maintenance, the distiller has been working flawlessly. We will be buying another one if and when this one stops working.

As expected
Some minimal assembly required. User manual is basically useless, so I took a star off for that (came with a random resister and a couple other things that could use an explanation)

Overall great buy
I use this unit for water distillation. Afterwards i put it trough a separate carbon filter and then it tastes good. I like that all the surfaces tuching the water are stainless steel, and the holding container is glass. It' s ok with me that the digital temperature gauge is in celsius only, but if you have to know the temperature in fahrenheit then you have to do the math yourself, but this only goes for if you use this unit for other then water distillation. Otherwise for water just put it on the highest setting. You can also make flavored water using herbs or flower petals etc.

Must have for home brewers
Wonderful product. The ability to set temperatures make easy work of distilling while staying just under vapor point when separating mixed liquids.Cleaning minerals after water distillation super easy. Just run some cheap wine thru.MW
