I had to add railings to an existing deck and was trying to figure out how to do it. I stumbled across these and am glad I did. Super sturdy and well built. They came with concrete anchors that I didn't use. I lag bolted them to my deck for my railings. Exceeded expectations. I am putting up a patio and am planning on using these again.
I was surprised that the post were very heavy duty, I did repaint them with rust-oleum paint as they arrived with some rust already showing from using a very cheap paint, but they are made in China so you get what you pay for.
This was the perfect solution to our shade project! Extremely stable. We ended up using different type of lug screw to secure onto our trex deck rails.
