Great lights - they worked exactly as expected. I used them to line the edges of my driveway to make pulling in and backing out easier. As received, each light had some battery charge so by clicking the push-button switch on the bottom to turn on the light, and then covering the solar panel to simulate night, I could verify the lights came on; all 16 worked perfectly. They are now installed and fully charged, and easily last through the night. I spaced them about 10 ft apart to be 'landing lights' and one could easily put them closer together for full edge illumination. We've had a few hard rains and I've even power-washed the drive, spraying the grit off the lights, and they appear to not be leaking.
One thing to be aware of: the button switch on the bottom is housed within a small white plastic ring, for protection of the button I assume, but this ring extends down maybe a millimeter below the bottom of the light housing; i.e., it is not exactly flush with the bottom. Thus, when setting the light down on a flat surface it rocks back and forth on this ring. One needs to either shim up the wings of the light housing or drill a shallow hole for this ring in your mounting surface to allow the housing to sit down flat and firm for mounting. Not a big deal, but be aware. Instead of the nice concrete anchors which came with the lights, I used double-sided Gorilla tape to mount them, which provided some shim thickness, and that's worked pretty well so far.
