I purchased this to cut 48" long tile because tile saws won't handle something this large (unless maybe you spend a huge amount of money). This tool scores the tile and you snap it to break the tile. It worked well for one type of tile but was difficult to get another tile to snap that was a little thicker. The break is not as clean as a wet tile saw, but I was able to put the cut edge along the wall so it is covered by trim anyway. The laser is nice to get the tile lined up for the scoring. Mine was aligned pretty well along the entire length of the cutter, but some have commented that this could be off. There is a little adjustment for the rails. I wouldn't pick this tool up with the rails - it is tempting because it makes for a great handle, but you may bend the rails. Overall a good tool at a nice price.

This cutter cannot make a straight cut on a small tile much less the 48-in ones that I need to cut. The bars are not rigid enough to get any kind of pressure on the cutter wheel and every cut snaps a straight brake for a couple of inches and then curves off and ruins the tile. Thinking I would get a deal at this price, I ended up wasting weeks and several hundred dollars worth of tiles trying to get this junk to work right. I have many photos but they have this rigged to make that too difficult as well. Stop wasting my time.

Definitely not the beat cutter in the world but for a couple hundred bucks it's a bargain. If you got a few large tiles ya got to cut for a job it's going to do the trick. If your looking for a daily tile cutter probably not the best choice. Sigma would be alot better choice.

It cuts so easy , a D.I.Y must have . handles 600mm porcilian tile easily, straight and clean.the only problem I have with it is the cutter is not aligned straight and dose cut straight unless you mark at each end of the tile and make sure it`s going to those marks. I tried to realign the rail and got it to within a couple of mm and it is a pitty that I cannot just put a tile in and just cut it instead of fiddling around linnig up marks because the Rail is not square to the cutter.

Hi used this when fitting large 300 x 600 tiles in bathroom. Cuts accurately, no problems with tiles Only used electric cutter previously. But this is soich easier and far less messy Well worth the money

The laser light is not neat enough and incorrect guidance. So it make the cutting edge was not correct as required. The balance of the device is not good when putting the tile on to cut. You have to hold the tile firmly when cutting
