I own a small grade in business and we do a lot clearing and demolition and when I saw the price I figured it was just going to be something that I would break in the first day I'm going to have to say that for $186 one of the best investments I ever made I've used it everyday for the last 2 months doing demo taking down trees lifting stumps and logs and it has surprised the heck out of me the only negative thing I would have to say about it is they should have made the pins I have a tighter tolerance or they go through the stiff arm a little too much play in that for me but overall well worth the money
Temporary held it with ratchet strap. Grind and weld only the top and bottom. Working good and taking off 2 pieces for digging. Want to make like a rack or holders for the thumb and brace bar on machine when not in use
Worked just fine until I used it to pull a stump and ripped the angled brace right out of the pins.I'll modify it in the spring and continue to use it.I still think it's a good buy.
Ingenious item, this is like an expensive piece of equipment at a fraction of the cost.Once welded on you’ll be surprised at the extent of what it can do as far as lifting logs and gathering up debris! Game changer!
this was a good product, was better than having to build one from scratch, this was put on a 410 john deer extend a hoe had to do some modification but going to wrk as advertised, the thumb was good thick metal to Weld.
Thumb arrived in pieces ready to assemble. All sharp edges were ground off. No rust anywhere. I couldn't have done it better myself. All pins were included.
