Not without flaws, but truly remarkable for the price. I just completed a fast stripping run of a TPW wash and ended up with just over 2L of 50% ABV from the 3/4 full boiler on my first attempt. I got easily 60-80% from spirit runs. I haven't bothered with the thumper at this stage. Attachments have been provided to make the thumper a true thumper but not defined in the manual. Despite what I've read, I've had no issue running the pot on my cheap $50 induction cooktop. See pics. The only mod I have done is put a good quality thermometer in-line with the output pipe. The thermometer in the lid is next to useless, inaccurate and not in a position that is helpful. The condenser pot can be made to work well, but not when connected according to "conventional" wisdom. If you connect the water outlet to the top connection, there is not enough "head" of water above that to get a decent outflow of water. If you go against the grain and reverse the water connections, it works really well. Much more volume of water out the bottom and as much as you like going in. Trust me, it works better this way for stripping runs.
