I got mine for about $70 with a coupon from prepperdeals, so I can't give this a bad review even if I wanted to. But I don't. This is a decent kit, honestly.A couple of things about my setup though... I don't use the pot for fermenting. So I don't have any solids in it when I distill. That almost guarantees I won't burn the mash. It also makes cleanup easier. I use food grade buckets for fermenting. Also, when you're setting up the condenser pump, make sure that end end of the drain hose that comes out of the top of the condenser back to your bucket of water is submerged. It's important to bleed the air out of that hose so it flows well. If you leave that hose draining into the air, it won't work well and you'll probably overflow your condenser.Last point that someone else already mentioned. The thumper isn't a real thumper with the included parts. I end up stealing a little silicone cone and the copper extension tube for the condenser and combining them to make the tube that goes down into the thumper. See the attached picture. Haven't tested that yet, though.Anyway, this is a good kit. It doesn't compare to my little 2.5 gallon all-copper pot still. But this gets the job done more quickly.
