It would be nice if it was a suction fan instead of a blower.i would rather keep the fan inside and just put the tubing outside. But it works. I clamp the tubing to something to keep it still

I purchased 3 of these for getting fumes out of my shop and they really blow the air but I wish they had more suction for pulling the fumes out!

Spent 2 days in my rainwater cistern applying a sealant. Had the fan on top of the cistern with the ducting tied to the BACK of the fan(Would have been nice if the fan had a reverse) and the tube dropping into the cistern through the manhole . So the fan was sucking air out of the cistern through the ducking. This worked great. Constantly had a high level of air flow. Very happy with this fan.

This fan moves a ton of air. The only con is that it's very loud.

I am very happy with this for remodeling and moving dusty air outside. The loud fan is not really a problem since the unit is setup to be set outside with only the intake are hose inside the house. If it were set up the other way, blowing air out the tube then the noise would be a problem. Also, the extra long hose is great for getting the dust from an inner room out a window or door. Good value fire the dollar.

Puts out some serious air and can’t wait to see how well it sucks fumes out of my shop! Can’t beat the price and I went ahead and ordered another one!

this seem like a really good product but after two months, it quit working one day so we went to investigate. We found that the switch was stuck and not working and when we pulled the handle this is what we found - see picture. it’s a good thing. We were home when it stopped working or it might have caught fire.

I have been using a laser cutter to cut everything from leather to wood to vinyl and acrylic. My shed doesn't have great ventilation and I had to leave during my projects to avoid fumes and smoke. I first tried a traditional box fan along with a column fan near the door and this made the smoke go away but the fumes were still bad. I set this fan up on my workbench very close to the laser cutter and turned it on with the hose out the door. I was able to get rid of all smoke and up wind from the fan there was no trace of fumes. I did use gorilla tape to secure the hose to the fan since the rope tie on didn't create a great seal. I can't speak to durability as I haven't had it long enough. It feels very sturdy and overall the value is good.

The fan is powerful and reasonably quiet. Not exactly 12", need a flexible or adjustable connector.
