Customer Reviews for 762mm/30" Hand Swager, Swaging Tool for 5/32", 1/4" and 5/16" Aluminum/Copper Sleeves

I weigh in at 135 pounds and had no trouble swaging 7/32" and 5/16" aluminum wire rope connectors. Built like a good set of bolt cutters.

I've been using this 3/16 aircraft cable and it's done a fantastic job at both cutting the cable and crimping the loop sleeves. It was a little tight to start with but it's good. I've found that it works best for me to open the handle and put one side down on the floor and then just press the other handle down so that I can use my weight to do most of the work.If I needed to buy another one I would, but I'm fairly certain this will last the rest of my life and then some.

It's strong and accurate. Very sturdy. The hinge is tight. Maybe it will loosen a bit with time.

Works very well and does both cutting an crimping. Use it for all my deck jobs and does not fail me.

The long handle on this swager made it fairly easy to swage 5 mm wire rope when I put parallel wire ropes on my two VEVOR Pa1000 hoists so that I could raise a 4' by 8' platform containing the 30 plywood panels that I use to board up for hurricanes. Other comparable swagers were priced considerably higher.

This tool did the job for me 100% of the time. I had 3/16" cable and the swedges were excellent.

This is a great tool for the job, but it’s a bit unwieldy to use and takes some muscle to complete the crimp.

Cuts cable clean crimps well good product .

Seems to be a grate product worked perfect for crimping ends on a warn which cable I’m sure it will not pull out
