*The ice cube tub pictured shows the first 24 hours after installation*The amount of water pumped from the jug is surprisingly minimal throughout the day.*The pump activates itself for maybe five seconds max every 2-3 hours. (The initial start-up ran the pump for several minutes before shutting itself off). It has a little bit of a low rat-a-tat growl when it is on, but by no means a loud interruption here. My unit sits on stone tile flooring near the kitchen. The four little silicone "feet" that you put into the pumping unit corners helps prevent excessive vibration noise.*Once you successfully remove the rubbery red plug from the 1/4"-water line outlet on the pumping unit, you need only replace it by pushing the supplied 1/4" water line gently into the outlet until it goes no further. The other end connects to the water inlet of the refrigerator ice-cube maker shut-off valve which was located behind the refrigerator. The necessary connecting nut and white ferule (sleeve) that fit over the refrigerator end of the 1/4" water line, ships with this product. (Very easy to gently connect with a size 13 metric wrench. No need to over tighten. Just gently snug it tight.*The manual's instructions are helpful but having actual added photos per step would be most helpful for a non-plumber like me.
