Not really suited to the y axis on my mill due to mounting constraints. I have it fitted and use it but a rotary encoder really should be used

Great DRO

This is a very easy to use DRO. It’s just a pity all the mounting brackets for the readout don’t fit and for some reason all these budget DRO’s always come with the wrong size scale mounting bolts. Apart from the hardware issues, these DRO’s are good value for money.

Great quality product and would definitely purchase again. Just be sure to check the dimension of the the scale readers for their actual length, not their measuring length. Its a bit confusing in the description.
