Cleaned out my chimneys from the bottomButtons that detach the length of the pieces were nearly impossible to remove either before use or after use. lengths because they're stiff and break when you try to detach lengths of polls while extending Reach(See Youtube for details)If you break the attachment to your drill the whole item is useless and easy to do because the push button detachable clips are impossible without two people and a soft tool to push the button don't do this alone ! Person needs to hold it and the other person needs to find out how to push the button without breaking the whole thing and getting stuck with this item that won't work anymoreExpect this to be a one used item you cannot use this two times even if you buy the brush heads because the clips are too stiff and makes it useless because you can't take it apart once you get it way up inside the chimney. Buy at your own risk but it does save you money but a terrible hassle to use

It wasn't much more for the kit with two extra pieces, so I went ahead and ordered that. All in all I only needed 8 lengths, and I figure the rest can be extra for in case the others wear out.I thought about duct taping the connections like some have suggested, but since I have a bottom-side cleanout I decided not to bother: If they come apart they'll fall out. I paid close attention to the couplings each time I added a length and never had a problem.Cleanout was a breeze. I thought I would have to go back and forth and grind, but the creosote was brittle enough that one zip was good enough. As a "first-time wood burning stove owner" I don't know if this is normal or if I just had a light buildup. (The buildup did LOOK really bad and we actually had a chimney fire before.) I did it by myself, but it definitely would go much faster with a helper.The manufacturer should stop including gloves or else pick a different type as the included ones are a liability: They're basically mover gloves, the kind that grip so that you can carry a mattress sideways. You don't want grippy gloves while holding a spinning cylinder. I wore some other heavy duty cowhide gloves while handling the spinning shafts and experienced no discomfort.

I have a woodstove chimney . Due to its height I can't get to the top. This fixed that as I can clean it from the bottom. The fiber rods bent when I needed them to. I used my battery screw driver so no cords involved. The only issue I had was I topped the pipe and had difficulty getting the brush back down. Did an excellent job and took away the fear of a chimney fire. Highly recommend

This sweep worked very well on cleaning my re-lined chimney.Most of the creosote glaze was knocked off and fell to the bottom, which is easy to clean up.

I bought this so I didn't have to hire someone to climb on my roof and do it. It's way bigger than I needed as far as length but I'll have extra poles if I ever need them. I used it the first time and got a full ash bucket off creosote out of my chimney. It was easy to use and maneuver and didn't take as long as I thought it would.

Quick delivery, fair price I have not used it yet, however, seems well-built, solid, and should more than do The job. came with a pair of gloves, and a sleeve to hold all the pieces.

This tool is amazing for cleaning the chimney. You just attach to your drill, connect the extenders as you insert it up the chimney and run the drill to clean. Way better than getting up on the roof!

I really like this unit. It works great without having to climb on top of my roof that has a 12/12 pitch. I did it for the first time this fall (2022) so I have to refine my layout so I don't get as much dust around the room, but it was very little. I am going to hook up the shop vac close to the hole and see how that works, but this thing did the job and it comes with a spare brush which is really nice. I was able to tell a difference using my endoscope.
