I bought this for jewellery. It lacks a couple of features that some jewellery shears have, but makes up for it in raw power and price. It's a HEAVY beast -- 60-65 lbs or so (28-29kg), and is about 19 inches (48cm) long on a table. A BIG piece of steel. Cuts like butter all the things I need it for. I even managed to cut 3mm solid copper sheets cleanly (I won't say easily, because it took some weight). But for the most part, the most I'll be cutting is 12-20 gauge gold and silver, and it cuts 12 gauge cleanly and quickly. I'll want to come up with a good way of lining things up for straight edge cuts, but it has zero issues achieving the task. I love it!

Seems good built, thick steel and good welds, I'm taking a star for the shorter than advertised handle I was sent, I would rather have the longer handle in the picture.

If you want to cut soft or thin medals this is your machine. No complaints it's done everything is offered to do. Absolutely no question in my mind this is a great purchase

Definitely good as a beginner cutting. It does 20gauge stainless with no problem. When it first came I thought it was bent out of line but it just needed tightened up.

Work as you think it should. The adjustable rod metal plate was bent but that probably happened during shipping but not so bent that it is unusable.

Quite a machine. Cuts through recommended metals like butter. I work with very small flat copper pieces so there is some curling along the cut line end, but that is easily fixed as I need to pound out the pieces anyway. Well worth the money.

Nice machine, which has easily cut some 20 gauge x 3/4" steel straps for me. However, the threads on the adjustable holder arrived messed up and needed to be re-cut (M12x1.75), and the main pivot bolt tends to loosen with use. A second nut to lock against the first and hold the adjustment can solve that problem (M16x2.00). I would recommend the factory add that second nut to prevent this from the start.
