I could not be more pleased with this chamber vacuum sealer. It is a must have if you freeze anything! It still amazes me that soups and other liquids seal without any mess. Just buy it! You will not regret this purchase!

For the price we paid for this vacuum sealer. We are absolutely amazed in how easy and reliable it is. Even servicing is going to be much easier than any other model we have used before due to that’s easy access and simple construction.

Pros: - It works well and has no trouble with mylar. The 4.5 mil/side (9 mil total for two sides) bags I’ve used need about 7 seconds heating time. The unit allows up to 9.9 seconds. - It seems to be well-built and if anything, overbuilt. The lid is thick acylic-type plastic, so the entire bag can be seen during the sealing process. The vacuum chamber is stainless steel vacuum and is solid. Welds have been ground smooth for a good seal with the lid. - I like that the sealer is in the back, making it easier to load bags than if the sealer was in the front. - Individual controls for vacuum time, sealing time and cooling time conveniently avoid menus. Not clear in the literature: you can push and hold any time button and the time setting will progressively increment or decrement until the desired time is reached. Cons: - It’s large and heavy, weighing about 60 lb. It’s not easily moved if you use it in one place (i.e. kitchen) but store it in another. - The tray insert has finger holes, but they aren’t deburred, so they’re sharp. That’s easily fixed with a small file. - The switch is mounted to and protrudes from the side of the unit. It would be better if it was recessed to avoid damage while moving the unit. - The heated sealing bar jumps upward to press tightly against bags when vacuum is reached. The movement causes bags inside to shift. I put wood blocks behind my bags to hold them still. - It’s somewhat noisy while the vacuum pump is running. - The bail flips up, but is not designed to flop down on its own while the lid is being closed. Be careful not to force the lid closed while the bail is up! - My unit stopped working after sealing 4 or 5 bags, but started working again later. I assume the unit has a thermal switch which overheated and tripped while the vacuum pump was breaking in. After 30-40 bags, that hasn’t happened again.

Service for shipping and delivery was great. I am sure this is going to work great. It is a Christmas gift for my husband.

Works great had no issues setting up went smoothly. Have used it for meat and some soup really impressed that you can do liquids in it. Looking forward to using it more.

I love this machine, My only 2 wishes would be for it to be a bit deeper inside so I can seal quart canning jars, and or too have a port for using an attachment to seal canning jars... Otherwise its real nice to use and I use the 4mil thick bags from "Out of air" dot com...I'll have this machine a long time or until one is made for jars ! Go ahead and buy it, it doesnt disappoint...

The machine is all I expected, after a lot of research, this is the unit I decided on, it has all the functions and ease of editing them without having to scrolling through 1single interface to find all 3 functions, the size it what I needed, and the price is way better than the more inferior machines out there in my opinion. It was on backorder when I decided to purchase it, so I put my name on the notify list, a few days later I received an email saying they were in, I ordered it and 2 days later it was on my front steps. Everything it said it comes with it did, filling the oil in the pump was very simple. I would say is the removable space tray does have some, let's say sharp edges on it, nothing cut me, but you can surely feel them. It is so easy to use and powerful. I used it on some dried rigatoni and ended up with a bag of small pieces of pasta. I have used it with Chamber Vaccuum bags as well as mylar bags, all with great success. I would suggest to Vevor that they have a small sample of bags come with the unit, as it does not come with any, now I was aware of this, so I did order some from Amazon in advance to have, but if I did not it would have been disappointing not to be able to use it that day. All in All, I find this to be a great product, and I don't review products often (only the 2nd time) that's how strongly I feel about this product.

This vac sealer is much the same as the more expensive models. We have several in our business. This one we bought for home after finding the domestic units will not draw down enough vacuum and are fiddley to use. They also fail. Time will tell with this unit. It works just as it should, no fuss. Easy to set up and operate. I would at this stage say it is a very good value for money.
