Ordered, received like 4 days later. Fast. Looked machine over and put oil in pump. Simple build, not much inside. Pump, circuit board, air bag, seal bar and a transformer is about it besides hoses and wires. Pretty cheap build.
Used it to seal probably 200 packages of meat so far. Does decent job. Vacuum gauge gets into the green but not all the way down, even after extending time. Appears to not leak while doing a leak test, which is good. Great seal but don't forget to put the little guide rod down before closing lid each time. Takes about 3-4 seconds running before the lid seals down before releasing hand from lid.
I don't like the fact that it is called a DZ-260C because they are selling two different machines with the same model number but are not the same machine. I ordered and received the 320mm machine which is designed and built completely different from the 260 machine. Why not call the 320 machine a DZ-320? Don't confuse people.
The biggest beef I have with Vevor is the lack of any responsibility to supply ANY parts, particularly sealing bar and internal parts. If a transformer, air bag or circuit board goes out, toss the whole unit in the trash or part it out and sell what is possibly salvageable for a few dollars on ebay. Lack of repair parts is not going to help sales, once these things start breaking down. These machines are churned out of the Chinese factories and no thought is given to warehousing parts for sale or even possibly standardizing the machines. Actually, they don't care because they think they can sell more machines if no parts are available.
Does a decent job vacuuming and sealing bags. Would I buy it again as my primary chamber vac? Probably not. I have a commercial USA built machine but wanted a back up. That is what I got. Just in case my primary has problems and need to repair it, which I can.
Hopefully, the Vevor it will last me years but not holding my breath.
Also, why have serial numbers on the machine. Looking at mine, there are two different serial numbers, one on the back and one on the inside which is different. As for recording purchase or warrantee info with the company, these mean nothing because of the no repair policy. Maybe in case of theft, but that is all.
And a PS, if you are sealing a bag and it the stop button, it will stop and release, but it will not seal the bag. So if you have machine set for longer seconds and need to vac for a shorter time, you have to reset and adjust the vac time to do so.
