Most of the bike is good but...
Pros: Sturdy frame, easy build... I had no issues with the build at all and was quick..

I love the bike. One problem that people had said on website that the seat keeps sliding down which it does. May have to put a new piece over pole with screw to keep tight. The other issue I was very surprised at was that it cane in two different colors. I paid for an all red bike not half red half maroon.

VERY COMFORTABLE BIKE!
I love my bike. I live in Florida and ride it most every day a couple miles. It is single speed so best used on fairly flat roads. Slight inclines are ok. Cons, the back bumpers are hard to get on right so they don't rub, mine has had to be adjusted. A friend put it together for me and if I were to buy it again I would have taken to a bike shop and had it assembled. I bought a different seat, but that is just my preference. The one it came with if fine. I also bought lights and a mirror. I am 78 years old, and riding is good for my legs.

Great Adult Trike!
This bike (or trike) was fun to assemble and ride. It was carefully packed. With the help of Youtube and friend, we put this together in three hours. I expecially like this 7-speed version of this trike as it opens up a lot more paths and trails to me. "Fit and finish" are especially good for a moderately priced machine. There were no parts missing and its assembly was satisfying. Surprisingly this 78 year old rider could remember some bicycle mechanical skills from 6 decades ago.

Way better than I thought!
Please consider getting this if you want a trike that's reliable and that you can sit back and have a relaxing cruise on, the quality is amazing, its sturdy and versatile, at least the version I got, the 7 speed gives you the option of either going on a relaxing cruise through the neighborhood or increase the speed if you want a great workout! The complaints I have about this trike are the instructions and the fenders, instructions are a little vague at some parts, they really expect you to be like a experienced engineer, I had to look online for clear unofficial instructions in how to build this beauty, and when Me and my father were done building it, we thought it was broken at first because the gear shifter was not working properly, turns out we didn't hook up the line that goes to the shifter to the gears themselves correctly, I'm glad we decided to look at the manual again because we both caught that something didn't look right. Last thing are the fenders, the fenders came in a little bent, not very much to be honest, I spotted it looking closely at them while screwing them on, can be easily fixed and bent back into shape with a hard surface and carefulness. !!And one last thing!! Get someone to help you build this, this is no one man job!! Overall, an amazing trike, even better that I got this on sale WITH monthly payments, hopefully you can get lucky too with the deal I got, but seeing the full price I would still say that this is worth it!

Bottom Line, My Wife LOVES Riding This Bike!!!
Delivery arrived in one rather heavy box. Took 20 minutes just to unpack and remove protective foam from all parts, which was OK because things were packed tightly together and all the padding helped. While I had assembled many bikes in my younger life, I haven't assembled a bike in over 25 years. I found the included instruction book and video on assembly on the Amazon site differ a bit from the actual fitment, parts, and tools needed for assembly. All that said it took this 70 year old about 3.5 hours of puzzling it out to put this bike together. Out of the box there was one missing part and one broken cable, but Pacific Cycle (who owns the Schwinn name and manufactures the bikes) Customer Service quickly supplied replacements within a week. Bottom line is my wife (73 years young, 5'4" tall) LOVES riding this 26" bike (this three speed version is perfect for her), and that's what this purchase was all about! If you have previous experience assembling bikes I believe you could handle putting this together, but if not I would recommend contacting a knowledgeable friend or a bike shop for assistance. Overall my wife and I would recommend this bike, but with the foregoing caveats.

Great bike but budget for assembly
Bought this bike for my mom for her 75th birthday. But we had to find a guy at a local bike shop to put it together… he puts together these bikes for people who order them I line and it took even him almost 4 hours! The derailed was backwards & he had to drill an extra hole for one of the screws. It was worth it, but just be sure you budget some extra $$ because it’s not really a “put it together yourself” thing (and I’d worry about safety too).

Good, but flimsy
The bike works well for the price, but it is very flimsy. I also wish I got the one with gears.

My son and I love our new bike
Ive wanted one of these bikes for ages but I was afraid to order one after all the horror stories I've read in the reviews. Overall, I am very happy with it, maybe we got a best-case-scenario kinda deal.

Use the Trike, Not the Car for Short Trips
My 41 year old son assembled my trike in about 2 hours because he's handy with tools. I'm 4' 11 1/2" tall and slender at 98 pounds so bought the 24" trike. It did not fit as well as I would like. With the seat at the lowest setting, the seat level, and the handlebars at the highest setting, I had the sensation as if I would go over the handlebars when I test sat the trike. He raised the seat up one setting, adjusted the seat to be tipped upward, and tipped the handlebars upward. This made it better, but after going on a couple of short trips to the nearby stores, I felt my lower back strained and arms stretched out too much. I had my son adjust the seat to be level again. Hopefully, my back and arms feels less strained. My leg does feel cramped when I pedal, but I do not want to raise the seat anymore because it wouldn't allow my arms to be at the best position for the handlebars. If the bike could be redesigned so that the stem of the handlebars was longer to allow it to be raised more, than the seat could be raised, and then my legs could stretch out more and not feel cramped. An improved tricycle like this would probably get 5 stars from me. Another negative point is that the steering is not aligned. The handlebars want to pull to the left relative to the front wheel. My son mentioned that this was due to some irregularity about the number of spokes, I believe. I can't recall exactly, but I think he said that there was an extra spoke? Overall, the Schwinn Meridian 24" tricycle did not meet all my expectations.
