It comes unassembled with poor instructions . If supplied gasket rings are not placed correctly it will not hold a vacuum . The silicon pad shown doesn't come with the chamber dont know why its in the picture!! If it's supposed to be in there \"I want mine\"

Works really well, didn't come with the mat for in the bottom like in the picture but a piece of kitchen roll does the job so still 5 stars highly recommend

I use chamber vac with this unit. pump would be asier to use. just something for other people to consider.

Received the first order and the heavy glass lid had a large chip on the edge and the gasket had two cuts from impact. It worked well enough but I didn't pay for a broken unit. Contacted the vendor and they agreed to send out a replacement free of charge (as you would expect of great customer service) but did not have to return the original. Overall works well. It would have been nice to see some clamps to secure the lid in place but the lid is heavy enough to seal as long as the gasket that is placed on the rim of the container is in place. Surprised at how much I ended up using this. Good deal at the price I paid for it.

This thing works great! Held a vacuum for over 48 hours with the pump turned off which was very impressive. The lid is heavy duty tempered glass and the fittings/hardware are good quality.

This is the right size for doing smaller epoxy jobs . Wish they could make a liner that would fit down inside that could be uded for epoxy .

This vacuum chamber works very well except for the vacuum manifold connection to the top plate of the chamber. This was not very secure and was prone to leaking. Had to modify this connection. I fabricated a flange from aluminum to hold the seal and secure the manifold to the plastic top plate. With this modification the chamber has held a vacuum for more than 2 weeks.

I have 2 of these. The welded seam on this one is inferior, with a tiny gap in the butt joint. But it does seal and hold a vacuum at 200 kPa. The silicone gasket evidently can cope with this flaw. I hope this lasts. The lid, fittings and valves all work very well.

Working like a charm

The instruction sheet for this thing was a joke. The gauge came prefilled, and the needle was sitting a -6 with no vacuum. I had no idea what to do about it, as I have little experience with pressure pot vacuum gauges... I had to search for zeroing oil filled vacuum gauges to figure it out.I'm giving it 5 stars anyway, because it does work, feels sturdy, has a nice reinforced hose, and will suit my needs just fine (I'm using it for degassing silicone and resin).
