Finally have my own awning

The apartment I live in has a concrete slab on the back patio, but no sort of cover whatsoveer. I've always thought about getting some kind of cover, canopy or awning, but really never did anything about it until I came across this. It was exactly what I was looking for. The perfect dimensions to fit over the patio slab, perfect height to match my patio door, etc. Setup and install was pretty straightforward. Everything just kinda slid, snapped and screwed together. Took about 2 hours when all was said and done. We ended up putting the top of each pole into the edges of the patio door track. Not perfect but it's working out and holding stable. Looks really great, functions well. The hand cranks move the awning smoothly. Easy enough to fold up when not needed. Still debating about leaving it up/installed over the winter or partially disassembling and storing until spring.

Great, if..

Overall, I love the shade. Super functional. Will it last forever, no, but for now it’s great. It was difficult to put together, the poles didn’t seem to fit together & the instructions were terrible. If you are able to get it put together, and have someone help you put it up, definitely get this. Great value for a temporary set up.

Quality shade, instructions were awful

I thought this would be good over patio doors to keep the rain from puddling right outside the entrance. The shade quality is really good, the polls are a little lighter weight than I expected. The instructions are completely useless. If you’re handy I’m sure you can get this put together in no time.

Great awning. Need two people to assemble and attach to house or wall. The direction on the end plate could be a little clearer to understand which way to attach to the awning itself. Other then that a great produt recommend to anyone.

Overall awning is very good. Won’t know for sure about durability til I have used it for a year or so. The only thing that could be improved is being able to lock the awning in place. On a windy day awning will float up and down.

Survived some Melbourne storms

I've been using this awning to cover my bike, and it definitely does the job! It's a bit finicky to assemble, but once it's installed, that baby ain't going anywhere. The wind and rain has been pretty brutal lately, yet it still stands strong.
