I got this cooler on a promotional sale it it appeared to me to be of the quality of an RTIC or higher priced cooler, so I took a chance. Looks tough. Feels tough. Super happy with it. While the cooler is super great workmanship, it won’t keep your stuff cold for quite as long as a name brand, but let’s just say not that less at all. Put in an ice pack and water and hours later the water was colder than it was before. When I got it the zipper was very hard to open so I lubricated it with Vaseline and when that didn’t do the trick like I wanted, I used chapstick and that made a huge difference. Will the zipper last long? If you take care to gently open it then you will be fine. But like any other soft sided cooler, if you horse around with it and jerk it around hard then you will tear it up, I’m sure. So how did this work? Only used it 5 hours and my ice pack when from fully froze to just a little bit wet. I would estimate that with ice cubes, this would keep stuff close for three to four days. With an ice pack, twenty four to forty hours. But who knows. Overall I am very happy with it and even if it doesn’t last as long as the competitor RTIC who charges at least double the full price or other high end brands that charge triple, you will get your moneys worth. Just be gentle. There is no zipper soft cooler that will last long if you don’t take care with unzipping and also keeping the zipper track lubed once a month or more. But don’t waste your time going by my word. Try it yourself and put it next to an RTIC. You will see they aren’t far from being the same exact quality.
