I have zero experience with waterfall or pond installation and this product was very doable for the inexperienced. My son and I were able to install a waterfall feature in a weekend using this product. It is the exact thickness needed and due to the length I needed for my project when I trimmed it I still had plenty leftover if I want to do another small project down the road. Definitely need two people (or more) to roll out and lay the product so it doesn’t get snagged or torn by something. But being careful and thorough, we had little difficulty. It’s heavy though! I also read not to let the product sit too long rolled up as it may stick to itself. Thankfully there was a clear plastic barrier that was rolled up with the liner and we had no issues with this. Our product sat for a few days and when we unrolled it, the heat of the sun relaxed the product and was easy to roll out and trim. But beware. This plastic gets stupid hot in the sun!! And will kill your grass even after a few minutes. But we worked quickly and the grass was singed pretty good but came back after a week.
