Great starter Planishing hammer
This works fairly well and is a great price for what you get. But be willing to fool around a bit with it to dial it in. The air hose is not english, so if you are in the US, you will have to do some plumbing workarounds, but it is pretty simple. The foot pedal is super nice to have. The hammer needs to be mounted VERY firmly- don't just clamp it to the bench. The pressure and height adjustment is wonky and doesn't work very well. But it still hammers and if you are just an occasional user, this is a good choice.

Cheap is what you get
Inexpensive planishing hammer. My big problem is with the provided dies, they are not made with too steel. The dies are soft and flattened out after a single use. That being said, the unit is what you would expect, it’s cheap but functional. I did talk to the customer service dept about the dies not being made of tool steel and they really didn’t have an answer for this other than to offer me a $20 refund which I declined. Eventually after several back and forth chat conversations, they agreed to provide a decent refund, which I have not yet seen. Bottom line this is a okay tool, but don’t expect it to last long. Customer service is reasonable to work with though and that I think is a rare occurrence in our modern world.

I was extremely disappointed with my first purchase. I contacted the company and was asked to send a video of the tool in question, so I sent photos. I received a note back to accept a 10% discount and the did not repair my issue. The company then decided to replace tool and now I have what was expected and I'm happy. I will use this company again for my next purchase. Thanks to all!!
