This microscope is exactly what I needed to step up my stone setting game. First of all, the price is absolutely brilliant for what you get. Some assembly instructions would have been nice but I did figure it out by looking for some videos on YT. The only thing I had to add to it was a light which I got from Amazon for a very reasonable price. https://amzn.to/3N3tgnt There is absolutely no need to go out and get one of those super expensive microscopes if you can’t afford it. This one works very very well!

I can see!

I will start off by saying I'm older and the eye's aren't what they use to be. I am a hobby jeweler and I'm always looking to learn new skills. So when I started to try my hand at stone setting and prong setting, I realized I needed a lot more magnification that the old Optivisor. I read the other reviews on Amazon and decided to give it a shot. I am glad I did. The set up was easy. The arm feels nice a sturdy, the optics are great, and I didn't go into debt just to have a good microscope. I can't speak to where this lies compared to other jeweler microscopes, however I can tell you that I can see the details necessary to set a stone now. I am very happy with this purchase. Now I just want to find silicone dust cover's for all the lenses.

Scope was well packed but missing 2 of the 3 wing bolts that holds the scope to the base. Also no detailed instructions on how to use the scope itself. Looks like u tube for instructions.
